Home Depot prices were great but the mistakes in Special ordering appliances is unacceptable. The order was @35,000$ For a 4200 square foot house. The appliances were better priced than any of the competitors and it was paid in full with the order. The sales specialists are supposed to know counter depth vs traditional depth differences, ice makers need pumps for the water, and ordering 3appliance for two cabinet spaces is a serious problem to be worsened by Home Depot to fight you over returns when they are intimately involved in the mistake is ridiculous.

Excellent store, good attendants and crew, great variety of products, clean. Needs to have more product options, or more products in shelves for some products, like screw and tools.

Store associates are always friendly and ready to help in any way they can.

Love the Petoskey store everyone is so willing to help with finding things and very knowledgeable in whatever department you have questions about such as carpeting, garage doors, lighting and etc. The store is very well organized and well stocked. So glad to have a Home Depot within 20 miles of my home.

I have been going to this Home Depot for a few years and although I am an hour and a half away I will continue to go there because ; The Store is always clean Easy to find what you want The staff is very friendly and helpful Prices are good

I purchased Nuts and Bolts during my visit to this store. The only checkout lanes open were self service. I didn’t know how to charge myself for the Nuts and Bolts. The checkout associate came right over and rang it up for me. She was fast and friendly and I was on my way! Thank you Home Depot!

We received excellent assistance in lumber, kitchen, and paint. People were nearby and assisted us immediately. I did just receive a notice that this site is not secure and that my information may be compromised. Not happy about that

Customer service was beyond expectations! Bill helped us with a roof ventilation question. We had never considered the advice he gave us. It was so professional and I believe what he told us was amazing and correct.

It’s very hard to get something done. I’ve been working for 3 months to get a new entry door and storm door. I had to have 2 measures because the first time they insisted the door was a special size. It’s been a struggle. Mia finally got it right. Now I probably have to wait another 6 weeks for installation. I bought new carpet that was a good experience so far. Not installed yet. I also bought a new refrigerator the next day and that guy (Steve) seemed like he just wanted to get me out of there. I didn’t feel real good about that purchase. He seemed annoyed by my questions. I like the special financing.

I love everything about this store except there is no hot dog stand.

Even with a nationwide shortage of help these days, the extremely busy employees of this store are always a blessing!

Perfect store if you want to do the cashier’s work. Self check out is usually the only option so don’t buy multiples of an item or heavy ones unless you want to wait. Store has some messy shelves and aisles, but if you’re patient, you can navigate it ok. Grills were all corralled into a big huddle and couldn’t make head or tails of what was offered. I like their choices in the garden center and from the flower pots to bird feed, but it’s not worth the hassle. There are a lot of other choices in the area.

Me and my fiancé were interested in buying a lawn tractor. Garry helped us sign up for the credit card and checked us out at the service desk. Dan helped us pick the lawn tractor we wanted, informed us about it, and helped Garry write it up at the service desk. They were both very helpful and the check out was easy breezy. Both Garry and Dan helped us load it into our truck with the help of another man (I think named Dave). Overall a great experience! Thanks for all your help guys.

Very helpful employees, everyone is knowledgeable and is willing to help, store was clean, they do a great job.

The only regret I have is not specifically with the local running of the store; it is regrettable though that all products of an easily shipped weight and size found online, are not available to us in the bear creek area, and from a business standpoint, there is NO excuse for this deficiency.

I have never received customer service at any time, at any location, at any store, that rivals the service I received today. I was looking for a working platform for my wife who does macrame. I didn't specifically know what I was looking for but, fortunately, I met Big Ed. He didn't just direct me to a particular department. He invented and built a weaving/macrame stand on the spot. My wife was thrilled, and I was amazed and delighted. Thanks Big Ed and Home Depot Petoskey!

Best prices and very friendly employees, even will take the time to talk to you and listen what project you are doing. Karon a cashier is always friendly and happy and goes out of her way to help you. I really like the specials they have in the isles that have the great prices and sales.
