I recently had the pleasure of working with Nicole in the appliance department at the Albany, Oregon Home Depot store. If you have the chance to work with her, I would highly recommend it. She’s knowledgeable about the appliances (dimensions, finishes, etc.) and she’s also very patient. At the time I was placing the order, the website was having issues and there were payment issues as well. She took the time to call credit services and eventually worked with her manager to get me the correct pricing and complete the order. She is a huge asset to that department and the entire Albany store!

I've never taken a survey or written a review. Late night trip for a project in the morning. Helen hunted the store looking for a tool I needed. Two people said the inventory could possibly be off if it wasn't right there on the end cap. Not Helen she hunted it down found it up in the pallet racking. Bang up employee in my opinion.

I went in to do a propane tank exchange cashier was nice and after paying for the exchange I waited for over 30 minutes before I had to go to customer service to ask for help because nobody came to help and customer service were just talking while people were in line. Never again doing a propane tank exchange here

Was not happy with the service I got in appliances

We enjoy shopping at the Albany Home Depot. The associates are always happy to help and very friendly.

The store was great at helping us return a skylight that was too small and order the right sized one with matching flashing kit. Estimated delivery time 2 weeks. It actually came in 4 days later, however no one notified us. 6 days after it came in, we finally got a call from store asking us to pick it up because they needed the room. We were waiting for this order to finish our roof. If we had been notified, we could have finished the roof over the weekend before husband had to go back to work. Extremely disappointed at the lack of communication.

The staff here at this store are always so helpful.

Josh was very helpful, quick, patient, and friendly in helpful us get a new oven.

I was very happy with the service I received today. I'm not a regular at a store like this , and was a bit intimidated. But your employee here helped me out from start to finish. And I left feeling like I could fix the job on my own. Will go back again as needed and receive the great customer service again. Thank You

I went in on my Bday 6/20 with my daughter looking for a new fridge. There is nothing wrong with mine I am just getting older and wanted the kind with french doors, handles and freezer on the bottom. We couldn't find a soul to answer questions or even in the area at all. My daughter went looking for help because after reading consumer reviews etc I made my choice and was ready to order one. I chose the GE for 1888.00 sale price for two more days. A guy explained no one would be available in that department til noon as they had call ins. Another guy popped over and chimed in on our chat and said so you can come back at noon or take my advise and come back Thursday. We were confused then he said we kick off our red white and blue sale and you may save yourself a few bucks. Wow that was incredible. The employee made me feel valued as a customer and he cared for my needs and wanted to help save me money. I wish I had gotten his name. Of course we came in Thursday and we're 100 percent sure which one we wanted. There was an employee there this time but unfortunately it appeared she was on the phone with a disgruntled employee or customer. We waited but after awhile knew from what we over heard she would be awhile. I walked down 4 or 5 isles and must have looked like I needed something because Steve Nixon (long grey duck dynasty beard) asked if I needed help. We said yes in appliances, we have questions about a fridge He stopped what he was doing and said he would be happy to help and escorted us to that isle and we showed him what we wanted told him we would like to purchase it now. I asked a few questions and he had the answers. He escorted us to a desk where we sat and he went over cost, delivery, water lines (which I knew I needed but wasn't sure if I go buy it first or what) he sold me a five year insurance package and explained it in detail. I also had forgotten my Home Depot card at home so he was able to fix that for me so I wouldn't have to leave and come back. He made me feel as tho I am valued as a customer and my time was important as his was. I understood the whole delivery process before I left the store. He should be nicknamed "Five Star Steve" for sure. It's employees like this that make a company stand out and leave customers no need to shop anywhere else! Friendly, helpful, knowledgable, customer service had me leaving the store happy and satisfied with my purchase.

My husband and I are newly married and we didn’t know quite where to start as far as buying a washer and dryer, Steve Nixon helped us check out our washer and dryer and we appreciated him honesty about the product we bought. He said the brand is a good one and helped us figure out what we needed for setting up the washer and dryer!

I bought a Refrigerator yesterday and the help and care of the store employees was outstanding. Definitely going back!

Loriana from Kitchen & Bath Design made all the difference in the world! I was unsure of what I needed and made numerous mistakes and changed my mind a few times. Every time she was there to help never once did she not go above and beyond to help out and help me get what I needed. Both through emails and on the phone she was fenomenal! That’s why I didn’t even bother to shop around and compare prices. It’s customer service like she provided with a smile always that keep us coming back. Normally you have a hard time finding anybody to help you while in the store. I can honestly say that this location in Albany is fully staffed with staff that are happy to help!

We just went through the process to buy storm doors. Steve N. At store 4009 was amazing. Very knowledgeable about the product and process. Gave us good timeliness for when things would be completed!! Thank you Steve!!

I was so happily surprised. After some time away from the Albany OR, Home Depot, I found plenty of helpful employees to guide me around the store and give advice on what to buy for my job!

We came to the Home Depot today to inquire about new exterior doors and the sales person in the door department was absolutely wonderful! He gave all the information we needed plus more he was very informational on the doors and other projects that we will be coming back for. In the garden center the ladies that we worked with on flowers were so helpful and wonderful we ended up spending twice as much as we would have. This store is amazing and everyone we’ve come in contact with is absolutely wonderful!

I love the Albany store, the staff is always will to help. It just feels like a neighborhood store

The employees are helpful and kind

I drive a low clearance car. I parked in a spot where there was a broken sign in the center of the two isles. Upon leaving, I had forgotten about the broken sign. The space ahead of me was empty, I pulled forward. I destroyed the plastic under my front bumper because I ran over that broken metal sign. I wonder how many other people have wrecked there undercarriage because of this broken sign? If I hadn't stopped and pulled back out, I may have torn all matter of things up under there. PLEASE remove this dangerous metal spike in the parking lot.

Regardless of the store manager making associates not enjoy coming to work I had a great experience. Meressa in self checkout was amazing and friendly.

1st The Albany Location has removed the Military Veteran parking spots! 2nd The new App for the Military Benefits Does not work! It took forever to open, then it would not scan, I tried five time and it would not scan properly, the employee tried five more times and it still did not work, then the employee tried using the store scan and it would not work either after three more times it finally worked. It is a major pain in the ! and takes several minutes and ties up your employee also!

I couldn't find the last gift I needed to purchase for Christmas. Emily came out to the garden area, brought me a big cart and helped me find even a better item than I was wanting initially. She was very nice and I look forward to seeing her again.

I loved coming in to this store for so many years now. For the most part the associates were friendly and helpful. Michael in appliances was always my go to guy. Even when he was working in plumbing. He always did everything he could do to help his customers and always left me with a smile. And there were days I was not the best customer. I could always rely on Michael to make me laugh. I've dealt with Jeremy and a couple other managers and they always frustrated me beyond words. So when I found out that Michael quit I can only imagine management has something to do with it. I wish Michael the best and Albany will not be the same. Shame on this store for not taking care of their associates.

Folks here are eager to help and knowledgeable of their areas. Jill in garden, in particular, is excellent. She is friendly, helpful, and fun to work with.

No one stopped to see if I needed help with anything. Cashier did not offer any other way to pay except cash. Lucky for me I had my property tax money on me. So now I have to come up with that money.

We are replacing all interior doors and Steve was helpful and knew his stuff

We drove from out of town to purchase an expensive tool. The ad said it was a $100.00 off the cost but the cashier said that was for on line only sales. After explaining our drive and asking some questions the cashier was able to give a discount that was close to the online price! We liked the fact cashier's had some flexibility!

Irma made my day. Had a problem and she helped me with my order. So very thankful!
