This weather strip fit perfectly into the door frame. It takes a little finger strength to press into the groove but finished product makes your door look like new.

The old weatherstrip was black and so deteriorated this didn't look like the right replacement, but since the door was white and the frame was notched I ordered three. The only piece I had to cut to size was the top and regular utility scissors worked just fine. Door shuts right now. This garage people-door was a major DIY project. Also relaced molding, threshold, aluminum door bottom w/dripcap, entry knob and deadbolt, and paint--Behr Premium Ultra.

Typical shennanigans of big box stores. Beat suppliers up to cut cost out. No foam found. Cant hold shape or seal like original weatherstripping. See image and beware. Disappointed to say the least

I probably should have paid more attention to the package. I thought I was getting replacement weatherstripping for the entire door. This package is just one 84" length -- good for one side of the door frame. It was very easy to install and sits well in the door frame. The door closes without any issue. I'll have to pick up a couple more packages to replace all around the door frame.

Way to much light bleed. I exchanged this product for the foam core strip from the same manufacturer. No light bleed with the foam core strip. Both products were easy to install and remove.

This product is poorly made and doesn’t even seal the door properly compared to the original door weatherstrip.

Easy to install. Fit was perfect. Only had to trim an inch or so off one end prior to installing.

This is so much better than the cheap stuff (foam covered with vinyl). Its kind of like rubber. With dogs that scratch at the door this stuff lasts much longer. Just wish it came with enough length to do the whole door (sides and top). Package only provided enough to do one side of the door with a small amount left over (not enough to do the top of door). But, since the only damaged portion of my old weatherstrip was one side, it worked for what I needed.

Would recommend only because of it's longer length which is needed for taller doors. This weatherstrip is much harder to install than the typical vinyl. In my case, actually required hammering it into place with a block of wood. Also, should you need to pull it out, it can tear - be gentle with it. It ships rolled up with sharp bends which results in an uneven surface that can cause gaps in the door seal. These do smooth out over time after installation, but still annoying. Can't speak to life expectancy, hope it lasts a real long time

I searched all over locally to find longer than standard weather stripping. I finally found it at Home Depot and the ordering process was a breeze. I really like the durability of this product compared to others.

HD delivery was horribly long. I had to order and pay shipping because no stores in my area had the product. Product is an excellent weather stripping for our new painted white doors and trim. Seals well. Note that you will need a few boxes per door opening. Wish they packaged the product for one full door opening.

Not quite as thick or sturdy as I thought it would be. Had to put thin foam insulation between the open edge and door frame in places to bridge the gap. If the doorframe isn't perfectly square, and the door isn't perfect, it will need to be finessed with another product to get a good seal. Time will tell on how well it holds up.

This was so easy to cut to size and install. It really cuts down on the noise from the street too.

Was very easy to install. I am pleased.

It said platinum so I fell for it. It worked ok on the hinge side of the door. However, it is too thin and does not seal against the top or other side of the door. Very tough to install and once I got it all in, I knew it was not going to work. Main complaint is it is way to thin- it looks just like the picture-- no foam to fill the gap.
