My review is mixed. I have used this product on my French door and it worked very well. I purchased 3 packages ($30+) worth for a door that leads to the garage. The old weatherstripping was the cheap stuff but it worked. After I installed this I found that I could see light completely along the side that fully opens. In some spots I can easily slide paper right through. I am hoping it expands some how or I just wasted my money.

I used spline roller and whole body weight to put it in, finger strength wouldn't do it. Otherwise a sturdy looking well fitting product, recommended.

This strip is so thick, I can no longer lock my deadbolt when leaving. From the inside I can barely push hard enough to lock it from the inside. It's a very tight fit, which is good for keeping out cold or hot air. I can only lock my doorknob lock when leaving, and that's not acceptable for me. It may work wonderfully for someone who has more play to allow this thickness. I've considered taking it back but had to cut it to see if it worked.

It’s not fitting into the door grove.

This stuff fits in the slot in my door and keeps the drafts out. It is easy to install. Why can’t this be packaged for the average door? It takes 3 packs to do my front door! I’m also wasting 4+ feet because it only comes in 84 inch packs. Next time I buy something with less waste.

A little difficult for a senior citizen to install. But otherwise gives the door a great seal.

It is working as a weather strip should. Very easy to install. We bought 3 packages because you need one package for each side of the door and the top too. We originally thought it all be in one package but you end up spending 3 times that amount.

Nearly impossible to use to replace on existing doors. This is the third time trying to use this. The first time I had to use a hammer and 2x4 cutoff wrapped in a towel to force it into place. This time I had zero patience and will be returning it. It is a shame this is the only brand in store.

I paid the extra money for the "platinum" version … what a waste. They didn't completely seal the door … wind blowing thru the joints.The material may be of a better quality … but, there is NO foam as part of the weatherstrip. The cheaper versions have some foam … and I will go that route now.

I replaced the weatherstripping (ws) that squirrels partially ate. These look great but there is only enough weatherstripping to do one side of the door. I had to buy 3 packages, over ten dollars each, to finish the job.

The product itself is fine. I gave it an average rating because you have to buy three pieces to complete a door seal on three sides. Therefore waste 4 feet of it. They need to offer a small piece ~36" for the top.

The box gives clear suggestion, when it shows the door surrounded by a yellow stripe on three sides, that there is weatherstripping enough to do the whole door. In fact, there is only enough to do one side. And what was a reasonable price , $10++ to do the whole door, becomes $30++ when you need to buy three. That is a rip-off. That said,the weatherstripping you call the "Platinum Brown Collection" ??? Works as intended.

Weatherstrip is to thin and worst than the one replaced strip..very poor fit

Pretty lame you need to buy three separate packages of this to seal a door.

Works perfectly!

The weatherstrippng was easy to install, easy to trim to size, and just worked perfectly. Door is now weather tight!

Easy to install, looks nice

Was a little bit of a challenge to insert, but once I installed the weatherstrip, it did a great job sealing the door frame.
