Could be better

Love new oven
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the oven for less than a month and so far, so good. I’m still trying to get used to using the different burners and placement of pots on the of the grates (LOL)! I’ve have no complaints. The oven is vey roomy and food had come out great.

Fancy rack

Terrible design
This oven came with our new build, not even two years old and the igniter already went out. Pulled out the oven to find our brand new floor buckling from the heat which now is not covered by home warranty and found out there is only one year warranty with the oven. Garbage quality and most likely will have to be out money on a new oven before this one burns a hole through the floor

Functions OK but the manufacturing quality is poor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very disappointed! We had to glue the oven door chrome trim back on. The oven light bulb has been replaced three times. Now, the oven door seal has broken and is hanging down.
We bought this during the COVID supply chain crisis because we couldn’t get the model we wanted. This one, my 75 year old wife and I need to get down “on all fours” to watch the food in the broiler - an incredibly poor design. We do anything we can to avoid using it. Whirlpool will not be our first choice again.

Great, but one exception…
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything about the oven is absolutely great and easy to use with one minor exception. The control panel gets very hot just to the right of the LCD screen when cooking in the oven. I understand it is ventilation, but I’m thinking there could be a better solution to where the heat could go. I found this out the hard way the first time I was setting up the timer and almost burned my hand. Other than that, it’s great, especially for the price.

Unhappy
We have had this model for a few years. We are on the second time of the igniter going out. Pulled the oven out and found that it’s melting my floor! The oven gets so hot you can’t touch the handle with out a towel. We had the seals replaced and it didn’t help. Won’t be buying this brand again.

Love the 5 burner stove
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the stove. The two burners in the front cook my food really fast. And the two burners in the back is for food I want to slow cook. I love the oven as well it gets very hot very quickly.

Love color
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The center burner is unnecessary. The other 4 burners I like that are not place at the edge of the stove like other ranges. The seal on the for the over door is poor quality. A piece of thin rubber. Is broken not even a year old. I have mixed feelings about this product.

Just ok
I’m disappointed in this range. It gets very hot to the touch all over when baking. The door is thinner than what I have seen on my old ranges. It’s very flimsy. Even the oven racks seem lightweight compared to what I’m used to.

Do not buy….
A few months after purchasing, the door frame started popping off. If you look at the oven door from the side, it’s almost as if the entire door is bent. It can’t be fixed. There’s a small internal gas leak as well, we’ve checked all the valves and so it must be along the lines somewhere. I wouldn’t buy this model. Maybe not this brand either.

disappointment
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved my new range for a year until a grease spill caused a permanent stain. The glass in the door doesn't fit tightly enough to prevent dripping inside but it is tight enough that there's no way to clean it. Replacing the door costs nearly as much as replacing the entire range. I have always gotten Whirlpool appliances, but this design is flawed.

Good looking and good material
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two issues or complaints to say, one is the small burner’s grate is open so widely that I can’t put my coffee maker on top, no even on the center burner and second one day the electric starter went on by itself and I had to unplugged it from the wall outlet and after a few hours I plugged it in back and I is been working ok so far.

Whirlpool Freestanding 5 burner gas range

Great Range

The extra burner is a nice touch and already have ideas on how to incorporate it into my method of cooking , it's a beautiful range , I do all the cooking and i'm getting used to the different temperatures of the new range
