The worst stove I have ever had. It came new with the new house and within a few months the oven door starting falling apart. The rubber seal fell apart. The racks inside are too wide between ribs and potatoes fall through. The grill is on the bottom and you literally have to lay on the floor to grill anything. And no rack for the grill. Pathetic piece of crap. BTW, the demo model in Home Depot has the same flaws and their door is falling apart as well. Urgh

I bought this gas range coming up on 4 years. I travel a lot with the military so I’m not I’m not in the home for long periods of time and rarely use the oven. A few months ago, I notice the glass door is loose and about to fall off. I have gone to Home Depot for assistance but since I do not have a warranty, I have to have get the glass replaced which is not an easy feat. I saw the same range at another store and inquired about the glass door. Apparently there was supposed to be clamps to keep the glass in place but it never was. Defective device and no one will help. Do not purchase if the glass is not secured by clamps or some other method!

I'd really like to like this stove. It looks really sharp, but it leaves a great deal to be desired. The burners are kind of weird. You can't turn three of them on low; the only one that simmers is in the rear. Really? Sigh. You can't really use the center burner if you're using the other burners. Really? Sigh. The oven heats quickly. Yay! But that's cooking with gas, baby. The oven racks are really widely spaced which means potatoes sometimes fall through and the rack bends under the weight of a cast iron dutch oven, something you'd think would be pretty reasonable for an oven rack to hold. Oh, no. Hadn't thought about the potential turkey tragedy... The broiler. Don't get me started. It doesn't. The one time I had it going, the food was cold, but I could have cooked it on the outside of the door. (Burned my thumb.) I baked potatoes before trying to broil a steak and I don't know what happened, but the broiler didn't stay on. Minor issue, but the the clock and timer on the stove is the exact shade of blue of a gas flame. It has given me pause once or twice, especially at night. And it went on sale right after I bought it.

If you watch Home Depot ads, their appliance deals are unbeatable. This gas range is very high quality. We couldn’t believe the price. Griddle is a nice touch. Great fit and finish. I couldn’t find anything this nice at any price.

The stove itself is really good looking: modern, clean. spare looking. The range of BTUs for the burners is quite useful. The oven window is HUGE and really great for viewing. The control panel is intuitive and easy to use. (I'd change the color of the display so it's not the exact same blue as a gas flame...that has given me pause once or twice when I've seen the reflection out of the corner of my eye.) The stove top griddle is aluminum; not very impressive. The 5th burner seems somewhat useless. You can't really put 5 pans on the top of the stove at once, so why bother? However, this is my only very serious complaint that makes me hesitant about recommending this stove: The gaps between the wires on the oven racks are ridiculously far apart. They're seriously 2 1/4" inches apart. Baked potatoes will fall through the gaps. Casserole pan corners will easily catch, spilling hot contents. Overall, it works. I might have to see about new oven racks, but c'mon guys...did the cheesy racks really save that much money?

The gas range has no exceptions and is easy to use and looks great with the rest (dishwasher, refrigerator & microwave). Now I will start saving for the washer and dryer, lol.

Large 5.1 cube of oven and enjoy the 5 burner stove top. Need a cover to hide the feet....

Let me start out by saying, overall I love this stove. We chose it based primarily on the fact that it matched the other 3 appliances we were buying that day and the price. We have owned it just shy of a year. The burners work wonderfully - unlike the train wreck we replaced and the grates are easy to maintain. The grease spatter that mostly accompanies the cooking style of my significant other wipes up nicely and we are always able to get the cooked on food removed with minimal effort. The oven heats up quickly, seems to bake food evenly. The other half will attest to it's fine ability to cook his frozen pizzas to perfection. I will caution that the stove knobs get rather toasty when the oven is in use and DO NOT leave pans on the back burners unless you are quick enough to remember that you need a pot holder to pick them up. I may or may not have a few less fingerprints that I came onto this Earth with. On to the reasons I only gave the range 4 stars. I have to stress that I didn't actually pick this range out, the other half did. Apparently in his research he noticed that the broiler was on the bottom. Our last range had a top broiler - super easy to use. He failed to mention this to me. Fast forward many months and I decide to make delicious french onion soup. (Fantastic recipe is available on the food network). I turn the broiler on and notice the digital display showing an arrow at the bottom of the photo- hmm. I push the button again hoping to see it change and no go. I hit start anyhow and wait. A few minutes go by and I check the oven only to find it not very warm. Only then do I realize the error of my ways in not picking this oven out myself. Not only is the broiler on the bottom - you need to remove an oven rack then lay on the floor and try to maneuver it into a slot below before turning this beast on (yep had to turn it off and let it cool to do this). So once it is reheated you lay back down while one of your kitchen helpers hands you a tray of food to carefully insert it into what amounts to a coin slot. Close the door - BUT do not get up. Broilers are notoriously fast cookers so by the time you get your aged body off the floor it's time to lay back down and try to remove the food. If you are me and put the oven rack on the bottom slot this means the rack has to be slid out gingerly as it will rest on top of the broiler door with no room to grip the rails. Also, the oven racks do not like to slide nicely - this is also true when used in the actual oven. My other half is 6'5" tall and no matter how we work it, there is no way he's crawling onto the tiny space this range occupies to use this broiler - which means it will always be me repeating this cycle. I know what you may be thinking - use one of those tiny humans you made. Good call, except that over the years we've grown attached to them, and it seems foolhardy to risk all the hard work we've put into keeping them alive for a few bowls of delicious soup. So - buyer beware, the broiler is an absolute mess to use and you will need a good amount of space or a significant other that is compact that can lay on the floor and cook your food. Honestly, a first for me. The fingerprint resistant finish is great, reducing the need to wipe up the grimy mess the tiny humans constantly leave in their wake. I could do without the odd pattern on the window, it makes seeing in difficult, but I am resourceful and simply crack the oven door (WHAT?!). I haven't had a reason to clean it yet, but I suspect it won't be difficult. Additionally, be sure to always hit the "start" button when setting the temp, otherwise it beeps at you frighteningly loud, and won't heat up. I made the mistake - several times in fact. A feature I could do without. Just turn on already! We also haven't used the middle burner - I'm not sure what I would do with it really. OH- when I used the broiler for the first time I was shocked to find a mini griddle tucked inside! Turns out the other half also knew of this bonus feature but never told me - preferring instead to use 3 pans on the weekends to make pancakes for the hungry masses. I intend to use that soon, so sadly I cannot really review that. The griddle fits over two of the burners on the stove top. Kudos to Whirlpool for being able to successfully bring to market, then to get the masses to buy this oven, with this design. You have well earned the $ I paid you! So, overall - a great range that is a serious improvement from our 1980's model the house came with. All the burners work, installation was easy and its large enough to cook for 6 people. The only issue I've had is not being able to clean the top around the burners without it looking streaky. I've tried a few different products but haven't found one that works completely. I chose Whirlpool because I love the fact that they donate appliances to Habitat for Humanity homes!

Upgraded an older whirlpool has range. This new range is fantastic! Instantly hot, great selection of burners and accurate oven temperature. Will definitely purchase the rest of the matching set!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this Range installed last week and it is far and away better than the previous range I had. The oven heats up super fast and the burners cook fast as well. Only issue I've come across is when the oven is on the glass window gets unusua;;y hot so keep toddlers and pets away from it.

Everything was great except there was only one oven rack instead of two racks

I love my new range, I bought it just before the holidays because I do a lot of cooking and this range has been a godsend. I love the way it looks, cooks, and cleanup is quick and easy. I highly recommend this range.

I've had this less than 5 years and the oven no longer heats. All the appliances in my kitchen are older than this range, which I bought brand new. I won't buy another Whirlpool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range is simple to use, beautifully designed and made my cheesecake look better than ever!! Nice wide oven for baking and roasting. Love the sleek door and how it's glass with a large smooth surface that wipes down easily, inside and out. When making a meal the top grate covers the entire burner area so you can just set hot pans wherever you want without centering them on a tiny grate. Every time I use it, I love it more. I installed it myself, clear concise instructions came with it. Even the electronic /digital settings are simple and easy to use. For instance, setting the timer for a long baking time skips in multiples of 5 when you hold it down so you're not clicking 50 times to set it at 50 minutes. Very user friendly and gorgeous in my home. I'm going to be buying whirlpool from now on when we get to replacing the rest of them, I am THAT impressed with the value and quality from this range.

I love my new gas range. Sleek looking but substantial. It got really high power that boiling a big pot of water for pasta is quickly prepared! And also its oven gets heated up quick as well to be precise temperature by digitalize system. Highly recommended, I can't wait for using a beautiful grill plate, came with. PS: No pan/rack for a broiler is included.

It was affordable and a dream of mine to have around the holidays to help cook many things quickly. The five eyes are nice, but you must strategically arrange you pots. I tried great big skillets and big pots and it was a little tight. So you must use medium pots when using fry pans. Also, one of my eyes in the front takes a moment to light. It is definitely delayed. All of them come on, but it takes a moment to light. I have owned this less than a month.The oven has a light and is roomy with adjustable shelves. Oven heat cooks too fast. I always adjust to 350 if recipe says 400. Or take item out earlier.
