[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently replaced our refrigerator that was 17 years old with this new Whirlpool. Our challenge was finding a side by side that would fit in a very small space. The in door ice maker gives us more freezer space. The large storage on the fridge door gives us more room there as well. My wife calls it the ultimate refrigerator!

I was looking for a refrigerator that was not really wide for a tight area, and this refrigerator is perfect! It cleans well, has great lighting inside and love the ice maker. If you need a refrigerator for a tight spot, this is the one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this fridge to replace a 15 year old maytag. I am over the top thrilled with this fridge. It's hard to purchase a refrigerator that's not on display in the store, but research online & compared the options, prices & needed it to fit in a tight spot. I love the ice cubes, crushed ice and filtered water. It was cooled after 2 hours and there is so much room in the fridge! After the ice maker filled, I thought it stopped running because you cannot even hear the refrigerator! Never imagined it would be so quiet. I highly recommend this fridge!

I am very disappointed in this refrigerator. The settings are as high as possible and the drinks are still not cold when you take them out. The freezer is so small I can barely fit my arms in there much less anything else. I wish I could take it back and replace with a different one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a small kitchen, so I am limited in refrigerator choices. The most important feature to me is water and ice dispenser in the door so that limits the choice even more. I replaced a 10 year old, working, side by side refrigerator because I wanted my appliances coordinated. I am sorry that I gave my old appliance away. For the first couple of weeks, the appliance worked as it was supposed to and filtered the bad taste of Des Moines water, so it was drinkable. Then the filter quit working and the horrible service began. Whirlpool failed to set up a repair appointment as promised, so when the day of service came, I had to make several calls to reschedule service. This gave us an extra delay. When the repairman came, he had to order parts, so a second call was scheduled for the following week. Prior to that day, the service company called to cancel because the part had not arrived and they expected it to be 10 more days before the part was available. After angry phone calls to Whirlpool, I was able to get the part delivered in 2 days. (Angry customer gets 2 days. Normal customer gets 10 days.). The bottom lime is we were without the use of the distilled water function for over 2 weeks and had to purchase filtered water at the grocery store. It is working now, but honesty, I don't have long term confidence.

This is a replacement for a Whirlpool we purchased in 1998. Obviously, the newer model has many upgrades, better interior lighting and a much improved ice/water dispenser. Had a little trouble with it at first, but now it is mastered, and I cannot imagine how one could work better or easier. A lot of product for the money, and if it lasts 18 years as the previous one did, wow.

Reason for replacing was the ice maker and water dispenser failed to work.Everything about this model is better - the interior lighting - interior layout. The only complaint, and a minor one, is we had a little trouble learning the best way to use the water/ice dispenser. That is putting the glass in the proper position to receive the water. A small complaint, but we have worked it out.Overall, good arrangement of shelves, great interior lighting. A great buy.

The freezer section holds considerably less than I thought it would, which may be a problem. The unit is very nice looking, quiet, and is working well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is made up cheap. Not near as nice as my last Whirlpool refrigerator. The freezer side has the worst design for the shelves I've ever seen. Not solid as they should be so your frozen foods won't fall through to the next shelf but has racks which even small ice cream cups can't even stand up on. They fall over.Whoever designed the ice-maker for this product really made a mess of it. The ice has shot out of the maker onto the floor while I was trying to put things into the freezer. Condensation (ice crystals) form on the basket which holds the ice and when I have dumped the basket there is ice crystals all under it and on the working part of the ice chopper..... really not what I expected at all....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] refrig was delivered on time. they were very helpful and explained alot...took time to make sure everything in working order before left. The refrig itself is wonderful...it fit perfectly where we needed it to be. Runs smoothly. Love the way it looks. We have had it for 3 weeks now. The only thing I have found that it annoying is if pull too hard on handle when opening the door causes the refrig to move forward. They put two tiny "stops" in front of the wheels, but that doesn't really help much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first refrigerator I have purchased and I am glad I chose a Whirlpool .Being pleased with my Whirlpool stove and microwave, I went right to Whirlpool when looking for a refrigerator. We have a smaller defined space for this appliance and Whirlpool fit the bill! None of the other brands I looked at had this size with a water and ice dispenser on the outside. The LED lighting is an added plus. It makes everything in the refrigerator look brighter and inviting. Thanks Whirlpool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought to replace 25 year old GE side by side. Needed a max height of 66.25 inches, there were 2 choices with water /ice maker. We chose this unit as Whirlpool has been a trusted appliance maker forever, the reviews were good & the shelving is adjustable. The other choice was LG, reviews stated that parts may be hard to get & limited adjustability on shelves although it was slightly more energy efficient. I think we made the right choice and after giving the water temp 2 days to get right temp everything is working as advertised. I would suggest they add ability to level rear wheels.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this side-by-side refrigerator recently to replace an old top-over-bottom fridge with an ice maker that didn't work. The set-up was quick and easy and hooking up the ice maker was a snap! The cool-down was much quicker than the instructions suggested and we were able to put our food in both the fridge and freezer compartments right away. We had ice within a couple of hours. VERY happy with my Whirlpool side-by-side and wouldn't hesitate to buy again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator about 3 weeks ago. I am very pleased with the LED lighting, options on shelf placement and capacity of the door shelves. I am very pleased that we were able to find any refrigerator that fit our limited space. I was happy that it turned out to be a Whirlpool. My only negative comment is that the freezer's racks have too wide of a spacing between the spindles. Most frozen food boxes cannot be placed on their sides because they fall through the spindles.
