This replaced a 25-year old Whirlpool of the same size and color. Slight modifications on the interior are to my liking. I am very pleased with this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it a month ago to replace my previous Whirlpool fridge, which was problem-free for 10 year, but started overheating after all. I have very small space for fridge, so pretty much Whirlpool again was my best option, and i hoped to get at least as good features as they were in the previous model. This is what I got: wire shelves instead of glass in the previous model, fixed shelves on the door - very inconvenient feature- instead of adjustable ones, less space for vegetables (smaller drawers) and less light. Fixed shelves on the door were designed to not fit what in need, so many bottles have to sit there tilted. On a positive side- I got a little more space inside and a precise fit into my kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great features: large freezer, I never run out of room to store frozen pizzas, premade meals, and ice cream. The fridge, has movable shelving, can store any length, width, or heights you want. The door has a shelf that flips up to put a tall milk or juice container in. Two large crisper draws, I store my sandwich meat and cheese in one and store my veggies in the other.

This is the worst fridge I have ever owned in my life. After a short while, some parts of the fridge interior were below freezing even though other parts were normal fridge temperature. This persisted no matter what setting I tried. I had to throw out out countless frozen solid eggs, ruined lettuces and oranges, etc. I managed to get that part repaired, but the fridge had other problems that are still very annoying. The control section is in a strange place and makes it very hard to put things like milk or orange juice on the top shelf. The "wires" of the metal racks are so far apart that items constantly tip over and then leak down into the bottom of the fridge (VERY hard to clean). The bottom shelf does not go all the way to the back of the fridge and if items get pushed back there, they also tip over and leak down underneath the crisper drawers. I have never had this happen in a fridge before. It is also the noisiest fridge I have ever had -- very annoyingly loud -- which I really wished I had been warned about before ordering it. In summary, the fridge is of terrible quality (broke within a few months), has an extremely bad design for interior space, and is way too loud. I deeply regret buying it. I'd give it zero stars but I'm not sure how select less than one star for the rating.

I bough it for our tenant. She is happy with it.

We have a Whirlpool similar to this. It also make the knocking noise. It always has. The noise is cause by the contraction and expansion of the parts in the freezer when cooling and then turning off. It sounds weird, but it seems to be normal. We've had our fridge for 15 years. Good product I hope the new ones last this long.

Purchased in November and have had 5 service calls since, and is still not working. The warranty is for fixing only, not for replacement. I would be very careful before I bought another Whirlpool fridge.

Extremely disappointed in the overall quality of this refrigerator. After paying over $600, I expected more. It keeps things cold, I will freeze water, and is relatively quiet. Exterior finish scratches easily, difficult to change the hinge from the right to the left. Word to the wise, don’t buy it

The refrigerator is exactly the right size for the space. I was replacing a previous model of the same size. I was disappointed that the racks inside are wire and not glass as in the previous model.

My reason for the low rating is because I was delivered a defective refrigerator. The freezer door was a little warped and the gasket seal was smashed in. As far as Home Depot customer service goes, good luck! I spent hours trying to get through to a human being. I even called the store that sent out the unit. That store promised to call me back, but never did. I finally called the customer service number back and chose the option to set up a delivery (which I knew I didn't need), but I just kept being sent round in circles the other way. I did get a hold of a customer service rep that way and she gave me a different customer service number (1-800-455-3869) than the one listed to call. After choosing option #1 (which the rep told me to choose) I was able to speak to who I needed to. But since it was the weekend they couldn't help me and I was told to call back on Monday (and be sure and call because it would barely make it within the 48 hour window). So, Monday I called and Home Depot rep got in touch with Maytag (maker of Whirlpool) to arrange for a new refrigerator to be delivered to replace the defective one. I was told Maytag would contact me within 48 hours to deliver the new one. They didn't contact me. So, I called Home Depot back and they contacted Maytag again and said Maytag would call me back. Maytag did call me back then, but informed me it would be another week before they would send out the replacement refrigerator! Again, not a happy camper. Now, as far as the refrigerator itself goes, I don't even like it. The freezer part is really big and causes the main compartment to be low to the floor. I am only a little over 5 feet tall and have to bend down to see in the refrigerator. Above the top shelf of the main compartment is a built in thing that goes from the front to back and hangs down taking up valuable space. It contains the electronic temp control, light bulb and I'm not even sure what else except it is about 5 inches wide, hanging down about 3 inches and stretches front to back. I will say the refrigerator does seem to cool down and work properly as far as I can tell, except the freezer compartment , which allows the cold air to escape because of the defective gasket seal. Now, even the delivery didn't go well. I paid to have an icemaker installed, but since the icemaker wasn't the right one, they didn't install it. (That wasn't their fault, but I wasn't offered a refund on the install.) Also, after the delivery people left, upon examining the refrigerator, I found that it hadn't even been plugged in even though I was told it would be cool in about 6 hours. Then, upon further inspection I find out why it wasn't plugged in. The cord is on the right hand side of the fridge at the bottom. Our plug in is on the left side and up the wall a little ways. So, therefore the cord was too short and wouldn't reach the plug in. I would have thought they might have mentioned that little fact before they left! Also, there was a Whirlpool emblem that goes on the front and some other piece of the fridge left in an inside bin. They should have been put on the fridge. I don't know anything about how to put the emblem on. Wouldn't that be part of installation (as well as plugging it in)? I tipped the delivery persons well, but wouldn't have if I had known they didn't tell me about the cord and didn't install the emblem. So, overall, my experience with Home Depot and Maytag (Whirlpool) has been a disappointment. I don't believe I'll be doing this again anytime soon. I miss my old Gibson that I had for 20 years. It stilled worked but the freezer wasn't getting cold only sporadically. Gee, let me see I had a 20 year old refrigerator. which I loved, that I could use the main compartment, but not the freezer. I now have a brand new refrigerator, which I don't even like, that I paid good money for that I can only use the main compartment, but not the freezer. Anyone think I'm better off? Can't wait for this nightmare to be over. Maybe, if I can get a good refrigerator, maybe I'll get used to having to bend over to see in it. Live and learn. I'll never buy another appliance sight unseen. Pictures just don't tell the full story.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Refrigerator is running perfectly, no problems , ice maker makes ice fast. It fits in the small space (other brands were too tall). Bisque color fits nicely with the other almond color stove and dishwasher. Well pleased with purchase.
