This product worked great but I suggest you clean the vinyl siding first with bleach water...otherwise it takes a longer time to get the mildew off; in other words it takes more applications.

It does what it says!
Used it on my summer home garage aluminum siding whichwas heavily mildewed. Came back two weeks later presto no mildew. Used it on my primary home's vinyl siding and sidewalks. Within a week siding was clean. Noticeable difference on sidewalk. Also used it on my wood deck and within a few days all the algae was gone

This is a great product. Used it last year and wanted more for this year for other cement surfaces. It works slowly , but it is better than Power Washing and lasts over a year. Don't make it stronger than 4:1 ratio (recommended is 5:1)

Wed and Forget just works! No scrubbing. I have used it on the north side of three homes (two in mildewy, moldy Florida), on driveways, on shutters, on decks. On some surfaces it has worked immediately (metal shutters) while on other surfaces it might take a few weeks to completely destroy the algae/mildew. Amazing product.

It says it won't kill your grass. Well, it washed off onto our new sod. It's brown and crisp I'm so angry . We followed exact instructions

Wet & Forget does not kill grass. If per-cautions are not followed, you can end up temporarily browning and spotting plants. Please give our office a call at 888-727-8524 for more assistance. WetandForget

Bought this in the hopes it would clean my pavers. Mixed as directed and applied a month ago, so far no change.

Wet & Forget takes a gentle approach to cleaning, that's why you can use it for virtually any exterior surface. There's a trade off though and the trade off is that the product takes time to work on tougher growths like black mold and thick moss. only product I have found that keeps algae, mold, etc. at bay for an extend length of time. I resprayed my cutters after about 8 months and they still look clean. I did hand scrub with the first application.

          It will take time
I used it on my roof with heavy moss growth, it browned out that most quickly, waited two months applied again where it may have not got enough. Some green was coming back. A year later most the dead brown moss is gone. I did have to hand pick some of the big area off by hand. I also used it on sidewalk that had black mold. It cleaned the sidewalk but again one application it took 9 months to be gone of the deep black, it is still gone, been 12 months. It will work just give it time and follow the instructions. I applied it with a two gallon pump sprayer.

works on Green not on Black Mold
I bought this for the Black Mold on my back Porch ...I followed the instructions "each time" . After the first application it turned the mold to brown but after a month it was still there , so I applied another application with my 1 gal sprayer .....still there. So the 3rd time(2 months after first application) I wiped it with a rag and removed it. Very expensive process vs. Clorox which removed black mold the 1st Time. I will Reserve comment till next Spring because IF it keeps the mold from coming Back it would be worthwhile to rag it on ...Clorox I tend to use 4 times a year. It did work on the green mold in my drive where I poured the remained of the bucket the 3rd time ...so it may work on roof shingle mold and sidewalks and drives ?

Wet & Forget works on all exterior surfaces including roof shingles, sidewalks, and driveways. With being a very gentle product, Wet & Forget does take some time to work. You'll definitely see fast results on green algae but when it comes to the tougher darker stains, Wet & Forget will need a good amount of time to remove the growth. Please give our office a call at 888-727-8524 so we can help you out. WetandForget

Ok for few weeks I've had it.
I have only had this product for a couple of weeks and it is showing signs of approvement on my side walk. I have some moss on the side of house and it looks like it is dying because the moss has turn to an white then brown color and beginning to fall off. So for the few weeks I have use it it seems to be working.

            Worked as expected- very pleased!
Followed instructions and applied to roof area where shady oak trees cause mildewy growth. Our green mildew was actually gone in about 2 weeks. It's been 3 months now and there is no sign of previous problem. Very, very happy with this product and will buy again if ever needed.

I don't konw ehat to say
This solution is supposed to work... but it takes several weeks to take effect. So I expect it to work, it was easy to apply. It is a concentrated formula that needs to be diluted. The preparation could have been made easier it the bottle were graduated or provided some means of measuring the dilutions.

              Works
This product works. I know for sure . I live in Naples Fl.. About as far south as you can go...mold on my tile roof has always been an issue. I applied as per the instructions. I waited for months and could not really tell how well it was working. So I went back up and walked around to look more closely . Yes, it was starting to work. Two months later I notices two rows of tiles on the back side that I had missed... It was so obvious . I reapplied and in 3 months my roof looked like new. Any one that says that it doesn't work is misapplying or doesn't have the patience and wants instant results. No odors or smell

Did the job on green algae but didn't get rid of the black stains on the limestone. Been on for 6 weeks so may get rid of the black stains also as it supposedly can take up to 3 months.

Hey there! Glad to hear Wet & Forget worked on your green algae. In regards to the black stains on your limestone, you’re right: Wet & Forget can take a bit longer to remove the tougher, black stains you might see. For the heavier, black stains, we occasionally recommend a second application about a month after the first. Feel free to contact us should any more questions arise! WetandForget

                product does not work
I ordered Wet & Forget after seeing a demonstration video clip of it on YouTube. The video showed Wet & Forget being used to clean mould, lichens & dirt from a granite monument. Just spray it on and leave it. The next scene showed an "after use" photo of the now perfectly clean monument. Looked very convincing so I "goolged" to find where to purchase it, found it offered by Home Depot and ordered it. When it arrived the instructions informed that it may take 3-4 months for it to clean the monument.....info that was left out of the video clip. Its been a month since I applied Wet & Forget to my family monument and so far no sign that it is working even slightly. Although I am not satisfied with Wet & Forget, I have no issues with Home Depot as far as how fast it was delivered, etc. However, perhaps Home Depot should test products before being offered for sale.

spray and forget questionable results on roof
I used this product on part of our front roof last fall, but it did not do the job to our level of expectation as some of the black spots/mold remains. We recently had the roof sprayed with a 50/50 clorox solution but that did not work very well either. Earlier last year we used another product with mixed results, so do not get your expectations too high. I will try it one more time next week. I have used the product on our deck and it worked fine. If your roof has high pitch that may be a problem since the product runs off.

Does the job, am very pleased
I applied this in the early spring 1-1/2 years ago on a stone patio and steps in a very humid, lakefront area in WV. Within a couple of months the areas were brighter and cleaner. I sprayed in the fall, and again the following spring and the patio area has never looked nicer. Great product, not as environmentally damaging as bleach, although you do have to be patient for results and remember to reapply occasionally in order to keep things looking good. I also used this on a bluestone patio at our primary residence in PA and have had the same great results.

                  It Works
It was very surprised, but it really works. It does take about two weeks of wait time to fully eliminate the mold and mildew. I plan to use it again in the Spring.

                  Wet and Forget
I have read other reviews and I am truly amazed. It works beautifully in Central Florida on shady concrete with black mold building up. I have pressure washed every year for 16 years which is a tedious chore, spending hours trying to remove the mold. I used this on alternating sections of the sidewalk to give myself the ability to make a side by side comparison in different degrees of sunlight exposure. There was no reaction when it was applied, there was a very slight odor, but there was a little tint of wet look immediately after the application. One week later there was a visible difference. Each day after that resulted in less mold and discoloration. The sidewalk brightened up after about three weeks. I have now applied the product to the other sections that I skipped. I don't know why other reviews mention chemical reactions. color changes, and odors. I can only assume that there may have been other chemicals already on the sidewalk before trying to use this which resulted in some sort of reaction and maybe is preventing it from working as intended? So far it even removed the serious mold built up around my AC unit. That was real bad. I highly recommend this but make sure this is not being used after you have already attempted to use other cleaners - just a thought. I know I had not cleaned my walkway since last spring so there was nothing to react with this.

                  It works!
I have used this product for many years living in the midwest. We recently had some mildew develop on the house wall behind some shrubs, discovered when pruning. Soaked the wall with "WnF," - a week later, all gone. It just does the job.

                  Does not work
I followed application very carefully and used it on concrete deck in South Florida. Its been about 4 weeks and there is no noticeable improvement in removing the mildew stains. When I applied the product it fizzed and turned orange, and I was encouraged, but that was pretty much the end of story. The unstained areas are a little brighter, but the stained areas are still black. If it takes 4 months to work, then this product has limited use, and really should be renamed as a preventer (if in fact it does that). I also tried this product on a plastic outdoor lamp and it did nothing. Normally I clean the lamp with bleach, but this needs to been done every few months so I had great hopes that Wet and Forget would keep the lamp cleaner for longer periods. It didn't touch the mildew. I am going to experiment with the remaining material, increasing the concentration, and first cleaning with bleach and then applying, but I am not very optimistic. Its just not worth the effort to return to Home Depot, and its not their fault, they shouldn't take the hit on this product.

                  WET & FORGEt
I was very disappointed in this product. There was a terrible smell and the fumes just about over came me. I don't; think it did what it said it would !! I will use it up because I don't believe in throwing things out. But I will wear a face mask. It was that bad. I had to leave the room after spraying it. I will not recommend it to anyone.
