Good grill, but pricey.
Ample cooking surface area for "average family" cooking. Good, even heating. Heat deflectors help contain flare-ups. Good design on drippings containment, collection, and disposal.

Best grill I ever had, this is # 4. Construction is mostly stainless steel.
Wanted a new grill as we have moved to Vermont, left old one in Georgia. This is a fantastic, well made grill. It is constructed of mostly stainless steel, including grills, important to me. It is a large unit that will sit outside al year,we use it all year.Looks like my last grill.

Excellent Option
Originally bought a Craftsman grill and returned it do to it's inferior construction. Purchased the Weber Genesis gas grill at Home Depot and I couldn't be more pleased.

Great product
After 10 years with a Weber I tried another brand and only kept that grill for 4 years. I spent a lot more on the other brand and did not get the same quality and value as the Weber. Now that I have returned to the Weber I am able to get consistent heat across the burners for even cooking. I will never stray from the Weber again.

Great Product
The craftmanship, and materials of this grill make it one of the best on the market. Not to mention, when grilling, the final product is nearly magical. I have had a few other gas grills in the past, which rusted out on an annual basis and did not cook evenly. This grill is completely opposite of those grills. Great purchase, a little costly, but you get what you pay for.

Dad day gift
This is a nice grill for the price. We like the look and we were replacing a Weber from Home Depot from 20 years ago. Works like a charm and we like the under storage.

Nightmarish assembly
We haven't cooked with it yet. It may grill fine. However, the Genesis was a nightmare to assemble. It took my husband and I four hours or more. Many of the manufacturer's holes did not line up perfectly and the unclear directions created a lot of frustration. When you pay nearly a grand for a BBQ, you don't expect this. At a minimum, I would wait to buy for special that includes assembly.

This product is top notch
Expensive grill but the grill is made solid and works just as well. Cooks even temperate and appears it is built to last. I had one issue with the burner not catching due to ignition issue. I called help desk and they assisted but some people may not have been able to fix it themselves. It was put together slightly wrong with a pinched wire. I would recommend this grill to anyone that is willing to spend the money.

A Connoisseur’s Grill
I am an devoted griller and had my eye on this particular grill for the last few years. I finally pulled the trigger and bought it a few weeks ago. First, I was nervous as I had it shipped to my home and past experiences with assembling grills have not been pleasant ones. This grill is so well made that even with instructions that only include pictures – I was able to assemble it solo in less than two hours and it went together without any issues. The first thing I noticed was the quality of each and every part – there is some serious weight to this unit. Once I had it assembled and I spent a few minutes admiring my craftsmanship, I connected a LP tank and fired it up. She started right up and purred like a kitten but it was late at night and I had to wait until the next day to use it for real. When I did cook on it the next day – it was great to have a grill that holds a very consistent temperature and didn’t have major hot & cold spots on it. After a few sessions of grilling some delicious chicken breasts and a few medium rare rib eye steaks I decided to purchase the rotisserie unit for the grill. Now let me tell you, if you have never cooked a fresh whole chicken on the grill using a rotisserie – you have never really eaten chicken. Overall, I couldn’t be happier in my purchase – even though this grill cost me more than my first car (1968 Chev Nova), I plan on enjoying many, many succulent meals over the next 6-8 years using this quality piece of grilling equipment.

Outstanding
If you can afford a Weber this is the way to go. Better built longer lasting. Over the years I have tried other brands but none hold up or can compare to Weber. More expensive, yes but then you get what you pay for.

Great grill if you're willing to pay the Weber premium
I wanted to first commend my local HD store for making up for a strange lack of quality control with the grill parts included in my purchase. For some reason there were some missing parts associated with the LP tank-hanging aspect of the design. So, instead of dealing with Weber customer service, I asked if my local store could help me. They took the needed parts off the floor model, and out the door I went. Other than that minor hiccup, I've been really happy with the purchase, and certainly want to take good care of such a pricey purchase to ensure it lives a long life.

Poor customer service policy
Just purchased the grill. Was pleased with the ease of assembly and solid build. However, after turning on the propane, I could hear a leak and smell the gas escaping from around the regulator. When I moved the tank to take the tension off the valve and supply line, the leak stopped. When I called Weber customer service I was told they would not replace the the valve until I bought and tried a new tank. Seems that other customers are having the same problem and their engineers maintain this is not their problem. This was a new tank 2 years ago that had no problem on my other grill. I would not recommend paying the extra money for a weber with customer policies like this.

Fantastic!!!!!
This is our second Weber gill replacing the first one after 15 years of loyal service. Amazing unit. Does everything right. I'm sure this one will be enjoyed for many years. Tip... Get a good grill cover and use it. We have always kept out grill outside and covered.

Pretty much flawless
Redesigned with some great details. Really like the scale for the bottle to tell you when it is nearing empty. My friend recommended the stainless cooking grids and I can already tell I won't be sorry I spent the extra. For the money the larger grill sirface may be over-kill. This grill is plenty bi for everything I've had to cook. Easy to clean and maintain, too.

Excellent BBQ/hard to assemble
This is one of the best BBQ's I've owned. I am a very handy person. However, I found the assembly very challenging. It was time consuming, and the directions were not very well written.

Wonderful grill!
I bought a display model (already assembled) for $240 less than the usual price - couldn't pass it up. An hour or so with a cloth and Barkeeper's Friend polished it right up. My previous grill was a Charbroil Commercial series that served me well for about 10 years, even after being flung off the patio by Hurricane Katrina. I did, however, have to deal with rust and replacing parts here and there. Being single, I didn't use it that much. Remarried, new house, new pool changed all that and suddenly I'm grilling for 15-20 people on a very embarrassing grill. So, after some research it was clear that Weber was the way to go for dependability, longevity, and a great grilling experience. The folks at HD were kind enough to dig out a socket set and takes the shelves off so we could fit this beast into my Mazda hatchback. Got it home and back together, then fired it up. It worked flawlessly and quickly heated up to 600, which never happened with my old grill. First night we just grilled up burgers - turkey and beef. They came out great - no charring from flame-ups, cooked evenly, and juicier than ever. The next night we grilled up a couple of rib-eyes, which I hadn't done in years. About 5 minutes per side between 450-500, got a little fancy and cross-hatched, they couldn't have come out better. Juicy, just the right pinkness, and what really impressed me was consistency - just as tender and pink around the edges as in the center. This is a solid (and heavy) grill. It holds the heat well. I love the tank gauge, much easier to read than the pressure gage I used before. Very pleased with the purchase, especially at the price (about $100 less than the E models).

Great Grill
Assembly was very easy and the directions were straight forward as long as you used the pictorial to clarify any questions. Assembly time was about an hour and a half. I used a light duty battery driven drill driver with nut driver attachments, a couple of screwdrivers and a couple of box open ended wrenches. I was a little disappointed that beyond the hood, doors and side shelves, there was very little stainless steel in the cabinet of this "stainless steel" grill. As far as using the grill. As always Weber is the King. It took about 10 minutes for the grill to heat up to 600 Degrees F. I had no trouble marking the steaks and chicken on the stainless steel grates. Clean up was minimal.

This Is The One
Stop searching for a new grill because you've found it. I've been using mine for 3 months and could not be happier. Good tastes great on it and it is an excellent value for the money. One thing to note is that it does not come with a cover, something to keep in mind if you will be storing it outdoors.

This is finally what I was looking for.
With everything stainless steel inside as well as out, i won't have to replace this for a very long time. It has met my expectations .

    Great grill
Bought this for my house warming party and got lots of compliments on how beautiful it looks. It works great. My only complaint it the temperature would not go pass 250 degree if there is wind.

    Weber Genesis Grill
This is the best Grill that I ever purchased. The only negative thing is the hardware Weber provided to install the cabinet doors is very difficult to screw into the unit. The screws strip easily.

    Awesome grill... a bit overpriced
First let me say that this is my first Weber gas grill...I love my Weber charcoal kettle grill so when it came time to replace my 9 year old Charbroil stainless commercial series grill that served me well I had a very hard time deciding on a grill that had great reviews, would cook well, was made well, and looked good. First the cons .. PRICE, not all the external panels are stainless as the item description may lead you to believe, and the tank gauge is useless. But, I decided to spend the extra money based on the many reviews I had read.. wasn't quite sure if Weber was years of brainwashing or the real thing. Assembly was 2 hours and 3 Buds with only one swear being muttered and that was because the wind swept my instructions off the table. The instructions are completely non verbage... so if you can't understand how to assemble something without words..pay the extra money to have this grill assembled for you. Next is throw away the cheap tool that comes with the hardware bag and use real tools to make the assembly faster. All said and done I have had this grill for 30 days now and I can't find enough meat, fish, and veggies to cook! The temperature control is fantastic. The stainless cooking grates are the best surface I have ever cooked on, and never been easier to clean. The burner control knobs put all other grills to shame! My only recommendation is that every 6 or so uses is to rotate the burner flavorizer bars so the grease from the non burner areas gets evenly burned off. Every grill has hot and cold spots... I am 52 and this is my 5th or 6th grill in 30 years. I have yet to find the perfect grill but the S310 is pretty close to nothing short of outstanding! I can cook 8 chicken leg quarters without par boiling in 1 hour and 15 minutes with all 3 burners on the lowest setting and the lid closed, without burning any meat and the skin is crispy. If you are cooking burgers or steak.. make sure and preheat the grill with the cover closed for 5 to 10 minutes to get the grates hot enough to sear your meat. All in all assembly was reasonable...the cold Bud is optional but this grill is a must have! You will not be disappointed with your results of how good it looks after it is assembled but more importantly you will be looking forward to family cookouts to show off how much nicer your grill cooks up a great steak than your guests grill does.. that is unless they have the same grill as you because they liked yours so much! One ask for Weber... if you really want to make customers happy... include the grill cover as part of the initial cost... you get a premium for your products... share a little of that pride and help us protect our shiny new pricy grill.

    Nice looking and solid grill
We bought this about a month ago and so far we've been really happy with it. It wasn't too difficult to assemble and it feels very sturdy. Seems to be fairly even cooking temps across the whole grill. Stainless steel look is very nice.
