This rotisserie was easy to assemble! It worked fantastically and the chicken I did was absolutely delicious!! It kicks the menu options up a notch or two!!

First cook was an 8lb chicken, under 2 hrs and it was done, perfect better than the store bought rotisserie birds. Next one will have to turn the heat up a little on the end to get the skin crunchy.

This rotisserie is a great addition to the Weber 22” kettle grill. I don’t really have any complaints since this is the 3rd one I’ve gotten. I have one regret, the first one I ordered, the ring and bracket was destroyed when a tree came down on my garage during a hurricane. I still have the spitz and the electronic part that rotates the food, but I cannot purchase just the ring with another bracket to hold the electronics.

Where has this been all my life? I cannot believe what a difference is makes: chicken, shawarma, Gyros, Doner, all come out amazingly.

The price might be of a shock. However, this a Weber product. Quality is great. Ring fits securely, no issue. We all can make good to great BBQ. This rotisserie makes it better than great. So far, I have separately spun 3 birds and a marinated tri-tip. All four better than great. This valuable BBQ tool is worth the price and the extra time for set and cleaning. I store it in the box it shipped in. After your first use, you'll have to make a list of all the different idea's you'll think of.

Everything is great, though I wish it fit my 22" kettle more snuggly. There's holes all around and while it stayed when I cooked something on it, it wasn't a rigid structure. It also matters how you place it. as the mastertouch which I have, has a few extra screws in the body so if you don't place the rotisserie right, it wobbles. Actual function wise, worked perfectly. Rotates at a perfect speed, absolutely no issues there.

Over all I like it. The motor runs smooth and quiet under load but the ring itself does not fit well. The weight of the ring rests on the two nuts that hold the lid holder in place and the fit of the ring against the bottom of the kettle is extremely loose. The ring has a tendency to wobble some what and instead of centering my food on the spit, I had to shift it further away from the motor end of the spit in order to stop the ring wobble. For what I paid for it, I would have expected a better fit.

I'm normally a huge fan of Weber products and fun features like this, but the rotisserie for the 22" charcoal grills just didn't do it for me. After owning it for about a year and using it a total of about six times, I finally, reluctantly, set it by the curb. Real bummer considering the price and how excited I was to get this. My #1 problem with this accessory is storage. It's big and bulky, and I can't find anywhere decent to keep it in my garage. I tried keeping it on my 22" grill but the cover won't fit over it. While it may seem trivial, the reality is that even you do a lot rotisserie cooking, this item will be sitting on a shelf more often than it is used on the grill. I think the best thing Weber can do with this product is either sell a dedicated rotisserie grill of some kind or build the feature into an existing charcoal grill much like how the rotisseries are designed into their gas grill. You may be thinking "just find a place to keep it and break it out every now and again". I definitely had the same mindset, but the truth is I was never excited to use this thing except for the first two times I cooked with it. To be honest, my whole chickens and ribs come out much better when they are cooked directly on the grill grates. I don't understand this myself. I see ads and pictures of people on Facebook with their golden brown, crispy whole chickens and I just couldn't achieve that. I don't know if I did something wrong, but given the limited instruction you get when purchasing this it's very hard to troubleshoot. So given the lack of performance, I had no motivation to just keep it around. It's unfortunate because I do like Weber's little gadgets and toys, but this one just didn't perform. One last criticism. Because of all the extra leakage, it is very difficult to control the temperature of the grill with the top damper. I even tried backing off the bottom damper too, but the grill would never drop below ~450 °F. Maybe that's how it is supposed to be when cooking rotisserie style, but again, no mention in the manual or anywhere on Weber's blog on whether this is important. On a positive note, the construction is solid and the motor works well. Never had any trouble getting the spit to rotate. If you're a rotisserie enthusiast and have the space, you may enjoy this product just for the novelty of it. But if you're like me and you're a practical person, this may just sit on a shelf collecting dust.

I had been wanting this item for some time now just to say I had one, but now that I have it I am soooooo pleased I finally got one. I immediately put a whole chicken on and loved the way that it was cooked and how evenly it also cooked

It’s great! Definitely recommend it. Strong motor, there’s a little more heat leakage because of the extra band but it hasn’t slowed down any cooking for us.

My first use out of the box was an Eye of Round (not the most tender cut of meat) and it worked great. Everything worked perfectly and the roast came out very tasty. I am very happy with this purchase!!

This works great, and has been well designed. The only question is how to use the weber connect probes on food cooking on the spit ? Big dilemma!

Overall great product and easy to use I wish it had a longer cord and sealed slightly better but would buy again

First use was yesterday and I did a small pork shoulder roast as a test run. I anticipated about two hours, and was right on the nose. There is a learning curve on heat control, since the ring acts like a big chimney, but about an hour in, I had my desired temperature and figured out how to keep it. The motor is exceptionally quiet.

Just received this product yesterday and after been a loyal customer for decades I would normally expect high quality from Weber, especially when attachment cost as much as the kettle itself. What I found instead is very poor design. Ring doesn't fit properly leaving almost 1/4 gap between attachment and grill which makes entire thing unstable. I noticed people have been complaining about this issue for years and as of today it's still not addressed. As much as i would like, I can't recommend this product until it fixed.

I bought this as a gift for my son, and he said he loves it. Meat turns out nice and moist. Chicken comes out nice and crispy on the outside.

This is a lot of fun. Though it automatically adjusts, it works better if you try to balance it. We have the gap that others complain about. I used an aluminum foil "snake" but I may put on a better solution later.

This is easy and fun to use...a real BBQ game changer. I highly recommend it for an easy and delicious meal. It is also fun if you like kitchen gadgetry!

This was purchased as a Christmas gift for our son who said he just loves it!
