I purchased this tank to replace my old tank. I wanted a tank with a diaphragm to controll the pressure. My old tank did not have one. I have a large pipe field and sprinkler system in the garden. The tank is functioning very well.

I ordered the well tank for pick-up at the store. The tank matched the specifications, which helped with installation. The well house had very tight tolerances, so any errors would have jeopardized the installation. The installation went smooth and there were no leaks or other problems. I shopped around, and this tank was the best value I could find for my application.

I only installed one of the water well tanks at my shop and the other one will be a standby for our water well at our house. So far everything is working fine with the one that I installed!

Last many other reviews, this item lasted about 2 1/2 years. It is located in a garage, so no weather extremes or harsh conditions. Look elsewhere for a pressure tank. This one is not worth the money or energy to install.

OK this is 2nd email Home Depot sent me asking about how I liked this 86 Gallon tank. To tell the truth its not installed yet, but it was shipped on a pallet in reasonable good cardborad box to the store. Did a quick visual at store for any damage and took it home. Unpacked the tank and measured preset pressure at 48 PSI, and left it there for a few days. No leaks, then bleed air out to 30 PSI. My well runs from 30 on 60 off. I run dual tanks cause I don't want to take a chance of short cycle on pump. Its not cheap to pull and replace a pump, besides a larger run time and less starts will increase life of pump. Checked the 1-1/4" threaded metal elbow inder tank with a male PVC. The tank threads are very good. Will follow up when I have more to say.

Installation was super easy and this is a quality product. I set the internal pressure at 2 pounds below my pump lowest cycle for perfect operation.
