Well Built
I figured this would be a nice gun when I saw Wagner on the title. I've gotten several Wagner products over the years and none have ever disappointed. This gun is really study and well built. I like the material on the handle. It has a good non slip gripping quality. The whole unit comes in a very handy and nicely constructed carrying case. The case has metal connectors to close it which I like so much better than those plastic ones that are hard to open & close and that wear out too quickly. It also includes several heat shields as well as a scraping tool that has a variety of shapes and surfaces to assist in scraping odd shapes. This is a very nice tool that should serve well for a long time.

Controllable Heat Gun
A more modernized version of an old standard for the DYI and Pro. The digital control panel is easy to operate. Just a page of instructions and pictorial with recommended heat ranges table for different jobs takes the guessing out of where to start. The Wagner is a very good name with a long reputation of good quality tools. I really appreciate the hard case with useful accessories included. My other heat gun seems cheap in size and heft when compared to this HD Wagner heat tool. A variable heat range from 120 deg. to 1200 deg.F is a nice digital feature. This unit is rated at 12+ amps like a toaster and gets hot enough to fry bacon, so care must be used to avoid burns. Only the metal tip gets hot on the gun, but could cause a bad burn to the user or if contacted with many materials. Two fan speeds and a cool down setting and much safer than a propane torch for most jobs.

A SIX !
I am a maintenance professional who always had a heat gun in my tool box, especially when I was doing appliance and commercial HVAC repairs. While one does not commonly need one of these EVERY day, if you DO have a need for one, this is a Rolls Royce of Heat guns. I hate to take from the product overview, but compared to others, this one has 55 temperature settings, 5 fan speeds, 4 nozzles and a 5-in-1 painter's tool to help accomplish any project that requires heat. That just about sums it up in support of my last statement. This has many uses for the home owner, handy man and professional alike. I can't wait to try it out this weekend to defrost our manual defrost freezer (one of the most common uses I used one for when I was in the appliance and HVAC business.) It WILL exceed your expectations. AND……. It a Wagner ! Another Quality Brand Name :>O !!!

Great Heat Gun
This is a really nice heat gun. It has a dial in temperature on the back where you can key an exact temperatures that you would like for different projects, paint scraping, thawing frozen pipes, paint drying, and so forth, also has a application chart on the side of the cardboard box that should be cut off and kept for referencing to tell you what settings you need to set where the heat needs to be for the application you are performing. Fits well in the hand and like most heat guns you can comfortably set it down in an upright position to keep the heating nozzle up. It comes with several attachments a scraper and four stainless steel attachments for different types of projects comes with a nice case though a couple of things about the case that I didn't like which was when the heat gun is sitting in the molded case there's not quite enough room for the cord. The cord has to be bent almost at a 90 near where it goes into the housing which over time I'm afraid could do damage to the cord, they should have left enough room for the cord also the case does not have a hinge has a plastic flap which could break over time. Other than that it would be a great purchase from a company that has been around. The manufacturer's warranty seems to be a great one 5 year warranty and of course with Home Depot you have 90 days to decide if you like it or not.

Great heat gun
Better than expected. Purchased this to replace a cheaper heat gun which burned up. Best value for the money and it works better than my old one. Comes with accessories for most uses. Highly recommended.
