Perfect width and strength for wardrobe clothes closet. Easy to shorten with power saw to fit width of closet.

This dowel is strong and fairly smooth. It had a few spots where sanding should have been done a little better but overall a good piece of wood.

That is the best dowel i've purchased in my 56 years! It's round, made of wood and long. They must be using some high tech robots to make this awesome product! If I need another dowel in the next 56 years, I'll probably use this one!

Exactly what I wanted. The SKU tags could have been easier to take off, however.

These are not 1/8". By measurement they are 0.110 vs. the stated 1/8" ( 0.125). Their stated 317 CM measures out to be approximately 280 CM. I punched a number of dowel holes in some boxes using an 1/8" drill bit and ended up at the local hardware store for real 1/8" the next day. I did find another drill bit in my collection that these fit perfectly. Just bad labeling.

36" dowel was in 2 pieces when I received it. Fortunately, the broken dowel did not affect my use.

These are fantastic for making arrows. The straight grain and high flexibility makes them great for use as arrow shafts.

The dowel was much lighter than the photo. In the photo, the dowel looks to be stained - however, in person, this is not the case. I only purchased this dowel because it appeared darker than the other dowels. However, once I realized this was not the case, I had to purchase wood stain, bringing the total cost much higher than other similar dowels.

I order 1/8'' x 36'' white birch dowel rods from Home Depot. The order was filled through Waddell wood products. When receiving them I could tell just by looking at them this is not 1/8''. I measure them with digital calipers and they are much larger, ranging from just over 1/8'' to almost 5/32''. These are not 1/8'' dowels. I sent an email to Waddell about their quality on these that came from China through them, never got a reply. I picked up some 1/8'' dowel rods from Walmart (these are Poplar) and they all measured 1/8'' and a label that said Made in USA. Waddell needs to get their act together.

I bought two and they arrived a day sooner than I thought. One had a small check in one end but that is too be expected with dowels. When I found out that this mildly unusual size was not stocked in the store I was very pleasantly surprised to find out I can buy them on line.

Extremely convenient! The dowels arrived before they were promised. Pickup was very easy. Two of the dowels were quite straight and useful, the third was badly warped. I was making a stage prop, so used it, but would not have used it for a customer.
