The dowels were exactly as described and were perfect for my purpose. I used 4 dowels and chicken wire to make a fence to keep my cats from going out onto my terrace. I couldn't find anything the exact size that I needed, so I made my own and it's working perfectly :)

The dowel was nicely finished but slightly bowed. I used it to replace the axle of a Scott's EasyGreen Seed spreader. Since I only needed about 1 foot length, it worked just fine. Price was reasonable and Home Depot in-store pickup was great.

These dowels work great for my 3 foot Centerpieces because they go all the way from the top to the bottom to keep the Cemterpiecefrom bending. The only downside Is that I purchased 20 and about 4 of them were straight and all the others were bent and one was broken but I found a fix which was to Hot glue the bend straight down onto the card stock and it won't bow too bad or won't be noticeable.

Wood was badly warped. Although it was only 3 feet long it came in an 8 foot long box.

Worked perfectly for what I needed. Arriving a day earlier than estimated was a bonus.

Came in as described and in good shape. Perfect for my use.

It met my expectations and was the perfect fit for my project.

Dowels were 1/16" undersize, so 13/16" instead of 7/8". The actual size should be listed in the product description. Product returned.

Broke a little easily, but unsurprising given their thickness. Worked perfectly for what I needed them for (dressing up as my bio teacher)

Quality of this product is severely lacking. I ordered these because I *specifically* need a 1/2" round dowel rod for a project I'm working on, and ordered 4 of these in the hopes they'd be accurate. I get them in, and they are *immediately* obviously NOT 1/2". I took my calipers, and measured one end- 11.7mm- or, in other words, NOT 1/2". Measured the other end OF THE SAME DOWEL ROD- 12.2 mm. STILL NOT 1/2 INCH. I did this on ALL 4 dowel rods- and not a single one is consistent OR 1/2".

Timely delivery, quality product, fair price.

Glad Home Depot carries this product. Hard to find a 1/8" dowel locally. They shipped it in a generous box and it arrived straight. Used it to fix cabinet screw holes that were enlarged leading to loose doors. Glued them in, cut it flush and screwed the same hardware back in. No problems so far. Hope it holds.
