After six months and AT MOST a dozen light uses, the crimpon the end fitting failed and is shooting out. When did it become common practice to design the more expensive hoses to fail?! I’m so sick of spending my hard earned money on “better quality” supplies just to have them fail on me within the forst several months!

I bought this hose to use as a general backyard garden hose. After about a week it developed a major leak in the coupling where you connect a sprayer. It’s not coming from between the sprayer and hose, but the actual metal coupling has a leak. sprays like crazy from that area. I’d expect a little better quality from a $50 hose.

My partner bought this hose for me, it sucks. I have never put this hose in a tight wrap it was layed out in a figured 8 because that is how it fell naturally. Over time fast forward 5 years now I just want to murder this hose. Lots of kinks (even permanent ones), many twists/collapsed portions throughout the hose. Currently since the hose has been on the bib for so long it is stuck to it as well as the shower head. To save it now I'd have to cut those end off and buy new replacements threads.

Less than 5 minutes of use and the hose fell apart. Total waste of money.

It kinks and it’s very annoying to use

JUST received my 100ft hose( 6 JUN 3pm CST by UPS). Hooked it up and starting BULGING in many places 7 to 10 inches away from each other. THEN broke 5 inches away from nozzle squirting water. WHAT the HECK ???? Had Shipping Label on box, but NO Shipping Slip in Box. 99% of the Time for YEARS I have used Home Depot and have NEVER faced something like this in a Product. City Water is 56PSI

The hose seemed to be a good buy but after a couple of months, it started to kink. Now it twists easily , making it kink even worst. Not happy.

I had this hose for less than a month when it started leaking around the connections at both ends. Today, a month and a couple days in, it completely blew apart in my hand as I was using it. I don't even have great water pressure and still this thing couldn't handle it. Save your money!!

I purchased three of these hoses a couple years ago. If you leave it out in the sun, you might be able to wrap it around the hose holder. Emphasis on might. Unfortunately, they seem to have held up well over the last couple years or I would gladly have tossed the miserable things. It is truly a wretched product and best left out for the sun to corrode into dust (which I fear that might never happen).

This hose is awful. It kinks so much that it’s unusable. Plus, its full of tiny holes. I bought it yesterday, unrolled it and the problems started immediately. Im on my way to return it now. Home Depot should be ashamed of selling such junk

This is the WORST hose that I have ever bought!! It kinks so badly that the water comes out as a drizzle. It gets me so mad that I actually end up SCREAMING at the hose. Do not waste your money. It is total garbage.

Yes, once underpressure, it did precisely that. The end is pressed into the hose. There is no glue, no swaging, no positive permanent connection of any type. This is pure garbage. And the worst part is, I will have to burn 30 bucks in fuel to take it back.

Out of the box hooked it up. The end immediately blew apart and the pieces went flying. Wouldn't hold with a hose clamp either. Not usable with a nozzle. I have a pressure regulator and none of my other hoses in twenty years have done this. The parts are super thin.

ALCON, This garden hose was a waste of my money. Unfortunately I waited too long to return it, but today put it in a better place named trash can. DO NOT BUY this house I repeat DO NOT BUY this hose. The product keeps kinking and kinking after it is advertise as a hose free of kinks. NO FEATURES, THE PRODUCT SUCKS. DISLIKE EVERYTHING. I HAD IT FOR 4 MONTHS OR SO. NO THE PRODUCT DID NOT MEET MY EXPECTATIONS AND IT WAS NOT CHEAP EITHER.

Hose fitting has fallen apart (hose was ripped from the hose by water pressure) during first use. Complete waste of money. Don’t buy

Bought this ,like other cheap products sold at this chain. It is 1 wk. and maybe 3 times Ive used it. It already have a"bubble" in it. It is suppose to be "burst proof up to 400p.s.i."

My wife bought this hose last September. It has been hanging outside all winter where the hose it replaced was stored for 16 years. Here we are in May, and the new Swan hose is leaking a fine spray. There are about 20 bubbles in the hose which look like they will burst soon. The hose was only pressurized during use, and drained between uses since I disconnected it every time to make sure the tap didn't freeze. I hope Home Depot will take this piece of junk back.

It blows on either ends ,not enough glue to withstand water pressure.

The hose only lasted one week and started to leak. Weak material easy to break.

I bought this hose to replace a 75' hose in our back yard because it was never quite long enough. I unrolled the new hose and it immediately kinked at every loop in spite of me carefully unrolling the hose. I used it once but it required several minutes of dealing with the kinks in the hose to get water to the sprinkler. Once I turned the water off to the sprinkler, the kinks came back. This hose is going back. I've already purchased a replacement hose at a competitor's store and it has NO kinks.

The end where you screw on a nozzle leaks. Will return for credit and buy another brand.

Just bought it yesterday in Tumwater. Brought it home, took off old hose, connected new hose, turned on the water, and female end blew off the hose. They didn’t bother swaging or crimping on the end. Just pathetic. I won’t be buying any more of their products. Zero quality control.

This hose was great...until it wasn't. Had great pressure and never kinked. Light weight for heavy duty. Always coiled it back the way it wanted to coil, and kept in garage out of sun after use. Then one day it sprang a misty leak about 15 feet from nozzle end. That was less than one year after purchasing. Now that leak has grown to a full spray as strong as what comes out of the nozzle. Have a similar price point hose that stays in the yard year-round through hot and cold at the back of the house. It's 10 years old, kinked up, and battered. And it works. Wish I remember where I got that hose.

I purchased 2, carefully connected together, turned on the water, and both hoses leaked at the fittings. I will return them.

Starts off fine, but over time, this thing loses its roundness and kinks like you wouldn't believe. Everytime I move around, another kink requiring me to stop watering and unkink. Do yourself a favor and get a less kinky hose. Photo shows this hose totally collapsed next to a very good non-kinky swan soft and supple.

Had it for less than 1 hour. The part that connects to the spigot blew off the first time I used it (tried to !). I should have read the reviews before buying this hose, as I ended up experiencing exactly the same issue as others. Took it straight back to Home Depot for a refund and purchased a different brand. Please don't make the same mistake.

Subject says it all - residential use, tried to water some plants. End fitting with sprayer handle popped off first. Tried to continue use without sprayer when fitting at spigot also came to pieces. Embarrassing for a “USA made” product.

We’ve only been using a week and it’s already bubbling up for some reason. Not worth the money. Looks like it’s ready to explode

Bought one hose yesterday. The fittings blew off on first use! Took it back...bought another one...fittings blew off during first use again. Not sure what the issue is, but this shouldn’t be happening!
