Fits on my old Velux skylight

Pretty easy to self install.Works as advertised. Meets all expectations.A bit more expensive for the functionality it provides.

Velux sales support recommended wrong size for my window (my units are older without tag) and units is very difficult to assemble.

Blind fits our Velux window perfectly and is exactly what we were looking for. Easy install. No complaints.

Pretty darn cool

This blind was fairly easy to assemble. The quality is very good but let’s a little light in on the sides between the blind and the metal. Overall I like it.

Some assembly required should stand out in the manufacturer's description. If you are an engineer or mechanic (I am both), you may be able to install this, but you will need at least that experience level. I could NOT follow the pictogram assembly instructions, with the many 'click' words printed next to many illustration pages. NOTHING 'clicked' together for me. I defy Home Depot to send an untrained clerk to my house to prove it is possible to assemble this thing using that minimal assembly pamphlet. I had to provide my own longer drywall screws to mount the frame to the skylight opening, after taping the thing together at ground level. Working at a 10 foot high ceiling skylight. I was able to 'mount' the unit using my own hardware. So be warned; some real innovative assembly required.

poor instructions for installing skylight window blind, disappointed that window is no longer made with the aluminum on one side which helps deflect the sun in summer months.

A bit confusing at first, but well worth the effort.

Installation was a piece of cake. Love the way it works and is a huge step above the prior Velux shades I had years ago.

The Velux solar powered shades are great. Not only do they open and close well they do a great job of darkening the room. I highly recommend them.

Arrived in good condition. Easy to install. Have not used it yet.

Perfect fit easy installation

The shades are nice, however they are not for operating skylights as described. You'll have to make a jamb to install the shade. A bit of extra work. The directions are a joke. I suggest placing them on a table and figuring out they go together before standing on a ladder with tools in hand.

The shade itself is a great product, the price is reasonable. The only negative , and it's a bit important , is the instructions . They are not clear and the there is no text to guide the installer. If you're relatively handy you'll be able to install correctly but if you're not , it'll be a bit of a challenge.

Blinds are well made and easy to install. (Caveat: you may need a second person to hold the blinds during installation. My husband tried to do it alone and the blind slipped and cracked. Our fault.) The instructions are clear. The blind really does darken the room, which is excellent. Grade: A.

Just what I needed. Straightforward installation and clean, trim, finished look. It’s unfortunately that tp purchase the three I needed cost me $450.00 but, hopefully they will last forever.
