VERY EASY TO PUT TOGETHER

Was looking for something to hang on the wall it does not bend very easy

It worked beautifully! The perfect solution for loose cords.

The UT Wire 5 ft. Cord Protector was as described and expected, and despite some other descriptions, relatively easily and quickly flattened-out on the floor. It cut easily to the required length, though the cutting process separated my 15+ year old poultry scissors into unattached blades. The most challenging procedure was fully inserting/installing a pair of moderately heavy-gauge audio interconnect cables, (side by side), within the center channel of the Cord Protector.

Took a while to get it to “relax”, being rolled up in the box and it being winter, it took a while to get it to straighten out. I tried a hair dryer but it still took a bit of time. I rolled it up backwards and put it back in the box for a few days, then installed it.

Great product and delivery as scheduled. Very easy process, so the 'Bottom Line'..... Great Job !

Pricey, but works well. Soft texture. I bought it because it was a good color match.l

Due to the layout of my man cave, electricity was needed in the center of the room and this cord protector fits the bill and is similar in color to my wood floor so it worked out just fine.

I am very pleased with this cord protector. It worked well in hiding and safely protecting my wife's oxygen tubing in a high traffic area in our home. The beige color blends in well with the carpeted area. It should work just as well for electrical cords as well as there is adequate room in the channels provided.

I'm using this unit at the front door to channel network and speaker cables. The doorway opens onto a ramp, regularly used (6-8 times a day) by a 300 pound wheelchair and rider. The unit is tough, seems to work well. Getting the cables in was tedious, but I'd rather have the sure protection!

Plastic is kind of soft for stepping on, and fastens to floor with double stick tape. Not sure if later removal will be a problem. It definitely serves its purpose of enhancing safety where a cord is in a walkway.

The color is actually a bright shiny tan, not dark like portrayed in the ad. Was very stiff and difficult to insert a cord even after warming it up.

We are using the protector to cover 4 Ethernet computer cords across a heavy used walkway. Works perfect where we had a rug.

This is a nice looking and functional cord protector. The only problem was that it came in a roll and was difficult to get flat to use on carpet so it didn't bow and pull the carpet up using the double sided tape that came with it.

This was not the kind of material we were looking for. The package says that it is made out of rubber, but it looks and feels like foam. It is too lightweight and I don't forsee it being able to stay down without the tape.

I was hoping to purchase a cord protector so that I could run an electrical cord to a fish tank in the middle of my room - something that would keep anyone from tripping over the cord and that would allow me to vacuum over and around I without disturbing it. Other cord protectors I have seen have been made from very heavy rubber or a rubber like material. This particular one is pretty flimsy compared to the others I have seen before. While the others I have seen lay flat on the floor under their own weight and stay in place even with heavy foot traffic, this one had to be glued to the floor (low carpeting) with two sided tape that came with it. Had I not adhered it to the carpet with the tape, I am certain it would continually buckle under foot traffic and never would remain in place if I ran the vacuum over it. It came rolled up and once unfurled it had a 'memory' and wanted to roll right back up again. It would best be installed with two people, one to hold it open and the other to apply the tape, then both to put it down on the floor. Hours with weighted items on top of it did not solve that problem, so I went with the two sided tape and adhered it to the carpet. The tape is not all that great either and the cord protector came up at one end within a few hours, as if still trying to roll itself up again. Other than the flimsy material, it seems to have been designed fairly well. The cord (a thick one) fit in the channel nicely. The shape is low enough to the floor to vacuum over it and have the vacuum actually still pick up dirt. It is also close enough to the floor to prevent someone from tripping over it (as long as it remains stuck to the floor by the tape). I would much rather have one made from a heavier duty material than is this one.

This cord protector came with double sided tape and went down easily. It held all 5 cords I had to run through it with a little bit of room for another one or two. I had to cut it because the area I put it in was more narrow than 5ft. It cut quite easily.

This cord protector is made of durable soft black materials that is soft to the step but strong in protecting and safe in covering potential hazards. Easily laid flat with the adhesive tape on carpet. Would purchase this quality product at this reasonable price again!
