Customer Reviews for TCP 90W Equivalent Soft White (3000K) PAR38 LED Light Bulb (2-Pack)

A lot of these new bulbs seem to exaggerate their brightness, but these were about what I expected. Crisper light than I expected from a "soft white" color bulb but they're just for lighting the lawn. The real benefit is that they clobber my "120W equivalent" CFLs they replaced. The CFLs might be 120W equivalent after 10 minutes of warming up, but the 90W equivalent instant on of these bulbs is way more useful for watching over our dog in the back yard.

Not dimable and that doesn't work for us so returned

My husband watched an episode of Holmes on Home last year where he said bugs did not like LED's. We purchased a old house with flood lights in the back and a creek running behind us. I wanted some LED floods but they were so expensive. I go these because they were cheap. Wow they are great. Nice bright white light. I have noticed bugs are not drawn to them, maybe because of the yellow middle? The funniest part is our sassy little wild possum. When it trips the remote light in the middle of the night it hides around the corner looking at them. It never did that with the old floods. I think I will buy some more.

Can't believe how bright these are compared to the CFL spots we had and 0 warm up. I got tired of turning on the lights when I let dogs out at night and having them not come on until after the dogs were already done with their business. I put 2 of these in and now not only is it brighter than an afternoon in July in my yard ,but I think my neighbor whose house is about 200' behind ours is going to need to install nuclear blinds on his back windows to protect his family from radiation burns.

I replaced 2 old spotlights with these LED spots and they are able to light a 90X90 back yard bright enough to see clearly.

I wanted a bright light that I could use for my front porch and I wanted a CFL or LED light. This bulb is brighter than I expected, which is good and has already worked well in low temperatures of 10 degrees.

90W LEDs use only 17W each. I purchased 7 each in packs of 2 online.

While this is a well built led bulb it is in no way a flood giving off 80% of its light from the middle20% of the bulb front and throwing a concentrated beam from this center of the front lens--Again not a flood. I added a diffusion filter to the front lens to get a little more even coverage but I shouldn't have had to do that. Quality looks very good but lifespan remains to be seen.....Lots of light just not flood light......

I replaced (4) 150-Watt incandescent flood lights in my back yard with four of these that use about 1/10th the power and put out 90-Watt equivalent. I was happy that I could tell no difference in the illumination of my backyard. It is as bright with these as it was with 150-Watt flood light bulbs. I am very happy with these. I prefer LED lighting using a bulb socket to the outdoor lighting that requires you replace the whole fixture. These work great for replacing older PAR38 lights. They are indoor/outdoor and well sealed but they recommend they be installed in an inclosed fixture as opposed to out in the open.
