Bought three a couple years back, all three developed condensation after 6 months between its double pane glass(which is supposed to be filled with a gas that prevents that). Makes the windows look like its raining milk outside all the time. Sent them an email with no response yet. I should of known when I saw theres no phone number listed on their website's "contact us" section that something was off. I'd understand if one failed but all three? Or maybe if it was an installation error but this is in the glass itself.

For my purpose, these windows were a good value for the price paid. The windows appear to be good quality and posed no problems in my particular installation. However, since awning windows are often installed high in the wall, above eye level, I found the bottom of crank handle housing unsightly. The appearance of the piece from below is unacceptable and it would seem to quite an easy problem to address with some sort of plastic cover. Had this installation been in a living space rather than my workshop, I would have been very disappointed.

I had initially purchased four of these windows and installed them in my garage. I decided I wanted to add 2 windows to rooms in my home which lacked enough light and ventilation...... I like the awning style because they can be left open in rainy weather yet still allow air flow. I had decided I would use a better quality window in my home and I wanted Anderson. Priced the Anderson and the same size window in Anderson brand was $480 each! I thought that was CRAZY, needless to say I ordered two more of these windows instead...! Cannot go wrong for the price and installation was pretty straight forward as well. Just $110 each was a no brainer to me! Anderson needs to get real !

Window worked for my particular application. My intention was to provide some natural daylight in my garage attic and a bit of airflow to help cool the attic in the summer sun while not being too concerned about rain intrusion. I achieved that goal with these windows. (I bought four, two for each gable end of my building). The "integral "J" channel" was a joke as it was unusable with standard vinyl siding. I simply installed vinyl J channel around all four windows to work with the siding and that was it. A small added expense but not terrible. They still need to drop the "integral J channel" claim though. Or provide a usable J channel.

I must be the last American who wants privacy in our bathrooms, yet | want to be able to open a window for ventilation. I installed this window 2 years ago in a combo utility room/bathroom containing our water heater and a shower. I had to re-frame to accommodate the much shorter window. I wanted to live with it before reviewing it, & have been entirely pleased with the appearance and functionality. We have privacy and security because of the window's size, and I don't have to worry about closing it when it rains! I love that it doesn't swell or have any issues when the room gets steamed up from the shower. I plan to install awning windows in several rooms now. Suggestion for Tafco: Please make a folding crank handle available. My only complaint is that the handle sticks out when not in use.

First time i have installed a window and it was a relatively easy task. Window was delivered a few days a head of the original schedule date which allowed me to installtion during my vacation. Window is well made and glass is tinted. Crank operates well and is secure when clsoed with hasps on the inside. Great father and son project.

Well built attractive window was exactly as represented in the online description. Builder was able to install it as planned as soon as it arrived. Smooth operation of awning feature makes it ideal to place up high to provide cross ventilation, without sacrificing privacy, and the double pane keep out heat or cold when closed. Attractive white vinyl frame fits in perfectly with other trim on my house

Specs indicated the window unit included a built in J-Chanel for new construction. WRONG! The units I received were identified as the same product numbers as the spec info but the windows do not have a J-Chanel. Both inside and outside of the window include the same 3/8"-1/2" space and the nail flanges stop short of all the corners by 3-4" which would not provide a complete waterproof install. There is no J-Chanel on the outside of the windows I received! I called the manufacturer customer service and they insisted that the window has a J-Chanel. I have not installed these units and plan to return them to my local HD Store.

This is a well-built unit for the price, works great!!

Windows are well made wish the sides where you nail it in were a little wider but other than that it's a great product

I returned the item without installing it. As it turned out I changed my mind on its installation. However, delivery and subsequent return to customer service went off without a hitch.

Window arrived packed very good. Surprisingly.Heavy for its size, well made, easy installation, hole’s already in flange. Great product, would buy again if need arises.
