Seems to be made better, than the shower pan. Shower pan is supposed to be solid surface, but it is not.

Better than expected!  Best feature is design of the soap shelf.  It is sloped outward, while ribs are parallel so water drains away and your soap does not melt. This shower niche holds our two tall shampoo bottles and two soaps with room to spare.  Fine finish on composition--beautiful!

easy to install, good quality easy to maintain, fits all the big bottles of shampoo.

The Swan Recessed solid Surface Soap Dish is the second one ordered for doing my two bathrooms over Home Depot order on line worked great.

This seems to be a very high quality product. The only detraction was already cited in an earlier review, which noted that it would be better if the top contact surface was not very thin, or did not have a cavity, depending on one's perspective. It is arguably not practical to make a ceramic "soap dish" anywhere near this big, so this is likely the best way to get such a product. I also had 2 of the smaller 7.5" X 4" X 10.8" type on the same order. These are also splendidly copious sizes. One of those had a casting defect and one had factory damage (thus not Home Depot's fault), and I returned these 2 to my local store for a refund. Because these are appearance products, it is a problem if a merchant can not (open boxes and) inspect them before shipping.

Arrived in perfect condition, very well packed! It was as pretty as the website! Unfortunately, it was too big for my small shower. I returned it :( It would be a show piece in a 60" or bigger shower!

I returned it, its not white, it’s very off white.

First one received was flawed. Had to order another one, which did arrive in OK condition. The surface is not glossy, so I was concerned about (hard) water stains. It is large enough and I would expect to hold shampoo, etc. It is heavy. Before installation, seems prudent to know where your studs are so you don't have to remove them? Did not use the product as it didn't meet my expectations, so returned it also.

Perfect fit with wall tiles and blends well color wise.

Excellent design and love the style, but questionable quality. Product arrives very dusty, and after wiping away the dust I found material voids on the surface from the molding process. Replacement did not have voids, but the back surface was not flush. Easily repaired with a file and sandpaper.

It looks beautiful! Just what I wanted... The only qualm I had was that the measurements for the rough cut opening on the installation instructions need to be better; it was too wide. Thankfully my installer was able to add support to the sides and the flanges just barely covered (1/4" on each side).

It's perfect! Looks great in the shower. Glad I decided on this product.

I ended up returning them. They looked cheap and not worth the price.
