Easy to put up. I put the small items together in the basement first..getting the outside and inside part of the windows together was the hardest part, use a nail to get the holes lined up. I stared off with a bed of crusher run gravel then I used 4 x 4's the bottom then 2 x 6's along the outside to go to grade. That added and inch or two to the final outside dimensions to the base, I covered that up with some plastic trim and caulked around the outside to keep water from getting under the building and into the plywood. The instructions came in box 2 of 2 instead of box 1 but this is my second building and I printed that out from online.

I hired some guys to put it together for me and I'm glad I did. It took them 2 days! It's a great shed with plenty of storage. Very nice looking too. Even the neighbors are impressed with it. Make sure to have a good level foundation for it like a concrete slab.

MY SUNCAST IS MAYBE 2 TO 3 YEARS OLD AND IT IS IN BAD SHAPE. THE PLASTIC HAS SPLIT AT ALL THE COR... My Suncast is maybe 2 to 3 years old and it is in bad shape. The plastic has split at all the corners from top to bottom. This is because they designed the corners to be one panel that folds at the corner and is joined with a thin strip of plastic. The plastic appears to have also shrank as I recently moved it and noticed a bunch of breaks where the roof connects to the body. The breaks were mainly at the metal roof support beams. My theory is that the metal has not reduced in length and as such, has prevented the plastic from drawing in at those points. I also noted that the roof has curled up likewise probably due to shrinking. The steel sleeve on the doors is now about 1/2" longer than the plastic door meaning the door shrank that much. I had to trim this (and other steel parts) to make it work again. Finally, the sky lights are brittle and broken in many places. (silicon, man's best friend) If I were to do it again, I would purchase the competition sold through Home Depot's competition. (I can't state brands or this will again be rejected). I assembled one of those for a friend and the design was superior. I think the competition probably understands plastic better than Suncast.

This shed is pretty much what I expected after having previously owned a Suncast Everett model. Instead of pouring a concrete slab like I did for my previous shed, I opted to build a wood foundation on concrete blocks, which was much easier (the downside is I have to have a ramp for the door). Installation is straightforward if you follow the instructions, though your hands will be tired of screwing by the time you're done. It looks really nice in my back yard. My only dissatisfaction is with the door latches. For whatever reason, the doors don't line up very well so I have to put all my weight into it to get them latched. I'm hoping the shed will eventually settle and they will line up better. I do like the fact that the latch plates are metal (the Everett had plastic ones). However note that locking the latch pin on the door plates doesn't provide any security unless you also use the interior latches, which is kind of an inconvenience. Otherwise if you pull on both doors, they will flex outward to the point that the latch pin simply pops out. It would be better if they had designed it so you could put the actual lock itself through both doors like their Everett model. I also wish they had included more of the corner shelves.

Encountered absolutely no problems with this shed - put the whole thing together by myself. Other reviewers encountered problems with alignment, especially as they installed the roof, but I did not. Important point to make: I took great care to get a perfect wood floor first - square and level. I think this is the primary reason I had no issues. The instructions include a recommended design for the floor - I followed that to the letter. One other thing to note - my zero turn mower BARELY fits so make sure you measure the "stuff" you are going to store before deciding on best size for you.

When I came home from work, my boyfriend and my and son's girlfriend had put this together to surprise me! He built the base the day before. It's really nice looking and does the job. As I looked at the windows , I noticed There was a film over it and she laughed and said, I forgot to take it off! Your boyfriend said it's better for security. So I really laughed, because he was right!

Setup was super simple, very easy to assemble... did 98% of assembly by myself. I had no issues with pieces not lining up, or off the mark holes. Very good quality.. The Key is a level foundation... I had a slab of asphalt I mounted it to so I didn't have to build a wood foundation, just used special asphalt anchors. Also recommend Suncasts loft shelf accessory helps with using all the square footage of the shed...

Compared to the cheap steel sheds, this was easy to assemble. There were a couple things to note. One, when it came to installing the screen panels over the vents, i was looking for panels and thought they were missing but turns out they were just rolled up precut screen that i was overlooking in a parts bag. Two, the roof bar supports looked like they were the wrong part but they are the correct ones and slide in rather than snap downward. Other than that, the roof panels took the most attention to detail to get them on perfect. If i was to build a second one would say it would take 2-3 hours, but for a first time, it took me 6 hours. You will spend most of the time doing the preassembly steps. If you wanted to take your time and do it over a two day weekend you could spend one day doing the preassembly in the comfort of a garage then assemble the shed in the morning the next day without killing yourself in the heat.

Easy to assemble, and everything fits perfectly. I was expecting some issues, but assembly went smoothly. I found it easiest to do all the small "pre-assembly" work first (such as the windows) myself the day before bringing in a helper. Highly recommend this shed.

The shed was easy to install. Everything fit together with no issues. The instructions were easy to understand. All the parts were well labeled, except the metal components. They had to be identified by shape, which was questionable.

This shed is a lovely addition to our backyard and looks charming. It comes with two little corner shelves and is very roomy. The ceiling is high so there's room to store a lot of things vertically. The vent at the top in front is a bit small, so it doesn't seem to do much to alleviate the trapped heat inside on very hot days. The shed can be a hot box during the dog days of summer, so keep that in mind when storing certain items. That being said, two men put it together in seven hours quite easily. There are instructions on the website that are very detailed including how to prepare the base you need and anchoring it along with any materials to complete the job. So far it's been weatherproof through a few downpours. This is so cute, my granddaughter is using it as a "Wendy" house for the remainder of the summer until I can move other sundries into it. It's perfect for the extra storage and play!

great looking shed, easily assembled but need more than one person. all parts included plus spare fasteners. like all of these type sheds, the plastic pieces are a little delicate, but once together, are sturdy. only have it for a few weeks, but at Jersey shore the wind is strong. fastened the shed to decking just to be safe. would recommend for its appearance and quality. instructions are pretty clear.

This was an easy build. It took my boyfriend and I 4 and half to 5 hours to build while stopping here and there. I really liked that the directions where easy to fallow and that it seems to be a sturdy unit so far. It has a lot of space for what we need.

With some help the shed went up in 3 1/2 hours! Just read the instructions first, understand the instructions first....AND....don't over tighten the little screws (about a gazillion of them). The shed is awesome looking and does everything as advertised and designed. Three days ago we had a vicious storm go through our area and the shed didn't leak....it's perfect. The little 4 skylights may not seem like much but they do make a difference. I also bought/installed the "loft kit"....a nice addition for folding lawn chairs.

This is a great shed! It wasn't difficult to put together at all. I'm 5'4" (in decent shape) and did it by myself in about 3.5 hours one afternoon. Building the base took the longest - I did this the day before. The base only needs to be 8' wide, even though the measurement in the description says 8' 4.5". Anyway, if you follow the directions, it's a pretty fast process. Great, sturdy shed that we expect to last for years to come .

The BASE of this shed is 16' x 8', not 16' 3 1/4" x 8' 4 1/2". 16' 3 1/4" x 8' 4 1/2" is the width and length of the roof, not the base. Tools needed show a 7/16 socket & ratchet and a crescent wrench---not!, leave the crescent in your tool box and grab a 7/16 wrench, you'll be glad you did. Tools needed shows a phillips head screw driver; if you have one and know how to use it, use your screw gun. I know they recommend not using one, but if you remember you're building a plastic shed, not a battleship, you'll save yourself hours of tedious hand screwing. And there are hundreds of screws to screw in. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS START TO FINISH BEFORE YOU START BUILDING!!!! The instructions are very good but you can get ahead of yourself on two minor items if you don't read the instructions front to back first. All of that being said, the shed went together very easily. I built it myself with help only being needed on the last roof panel. And that was because I couldn't be on the outside pushing the panel in place and on the inside screwing it down at the same time. It seems very well designed and I believe it will hold up for years. It looks really good!!!

The shed was easy to assemble but the directions could use some improvements. It took my wife and myself a half a day to assemble it after we found all the small connection parts that were all over the place. It is holding up well in the rain but it is the snow that I am concerned about! If it holds up to that, then I will be happy with it.

        Pretty Darn Nice
Hauled this thing 250 miles to my cabin in PA. Built a extra heavy base to put the shed on. Do this, it makes for a nicer job. Everything was in the boxes and took two of us (that know some Stuff) 3 hours to put together. Came out pretty darn nice!!!!!!

        Great Shed for the money
My husband and I put this shed together in one day. The most time consuming part was building the foundation. Directions were easy and the pieces were properly marked. It's only been up a week but so far it's great!

        A Great Purchase
This shed was very easy to assemble, I would recommend it to anyone. It is very important to construct a foundation for this shed before installing. It helps in stabilizing the shed and makes putting the roof on very easy. All in all, it took me an hour to build the foundation, and an hour to assemble the shed. It comes with two corner shelves and predrilled holes on all the walls to install additional shelves. The color is great and the shed seems very durable. No complaints.

        great shed
Pucked up the shed today and built it today... Built the wood base before pick up... Pre assembly took about 1 1/2 hrs and putting it all together took another 1 1/2 hrs... I built it all by myself with the help of my wife for ten minutes. All in all , very study, attractive, and simple to construct

This is a really good quality kit. Directions are good, and the parts are well labeled and fit together with minimum aggravation. Unpacking and assembly took about 8 hours for one old man without additional assistance.

            Water-tight and lookin' good!
If you start off with a solid, totally even base, you're in good shape for putting together this shed so that it fits perfectly. We used a treated wood frame with additional cross supports and heavy duty treated plywood for the underfloor. Tip: Use your level continually and in every direction to ensure that the base is even. In the photo, it's an optical illusion that the shed is leaning - the grass line is what isn't even there! My husband is incredibly mechanically inclined, but it still took him about 6 hours, working alone, to put the shed up. He said, as have several others who reviewed this product, that the instructions leave a lot to be desired. The good news is that all the parts were there and that even sitting out in the elements for a week before he got to erecting it, the shed parts were unscathed by rainwater, falling tree branches (it was very windy that week), and squirrels. We bought a 5 shelf resin storage unit from Home Depot, as well, and decided not to use the 2 corner shelves that came with the shed. Using the storage unit to its best advantage, we were able to put pretty much everything we had in our old metal 10' x14' shed in the new one. The only difference is that now we don't have any "walk-around and browse" room in there. Expensive, yes, but it comes with a 10 year warranty, so.....

            easy to assemble with help
We purchased the shed and 2 extender pks. it arrived in 4 large boxes about the size of a car. once we checked that all the pieces were there it was quick to assemble. we did it in 3 days. first was building a platform. we did not go with the concrete slab we now wish we had. much simpler than the plat form which must be squared at all times. next day laid the flooring and the sides. they went up with great ease. we chose not to screw down the floor till after the shed was assembled to allow for shifting. then we added the supports for the roof. difficulties there. that took the longest. one person can do it but best done with 2 and a sturdy ladder. 3rd day finished putting on roof. went great. there are a few places that did not match completely thats where being able to shift the floor a little helped.and bolting down after words worked out best for us. we really like the results and the look of the unit. at first it looked flimsy but once it was all together it is really sturdy. will purchase again in the future. over all took 4 hours each day. could be done in 2 , one for the deck( subfloor) and 8-10 hours then for the assembly. Husband and I are 45-50 in age and we did it our selves. except when it came to the roof braces ,we need one more persons help there. Only major difficulty was the support assembly that needed patience and tweaking constantly. defiantly need extra person for that. over all a great weekend project.
