Took about 5 hours start to finish to assemble by myself. I do have a background in construction so that might have helped. Everything went together with no issues. Instructions were easy to follow and most everything was labeled well. Looks great and seems very sturdy. Plan on about another $300 for materials to construct the wooden base.

FYI pay for delivery. We have not put this together yet, but hauling it was a nightmare. It is 2 large, tall boxes standing upright on a pallet. Store will put it in truck with forklift with boxes standing upright. Boxes are about 7 feet tall. Even with a good ratchet strap it was not a good experience. You will also need a forklift to unload.

Was put together in a reasonable about of time. I told my husband to make the platform.. he refused. He ended up making it the next day and put it on top. Let’s just say I knew I was right. Haha! Lots of space and I even put window privacy film since we have no gates in our neighborhood. Love the modern look!

My son and I put it together in 7 hours, reading the directions very carefully. Only two mistakes, but quickly fixed. Two leaks after the last storm, used some silicone and good so far. It is a cute addition to the side yard. I have had it for one month.

This is the 4th Suncast shed I've purchased and assembled. I built a foundation for it with the the floor and walls all being within 2/10ths of 1% of being true. I followed the instructions to the letter, including ensuring the screws were just right - not overly tightened or not lose. Yet, when I tested the roof for shedding rain, it leaked along the channels between the roof pannels even though they overlap per the instructions. For this shed, plus the additional foundation materials, I spent over r $3,000. I am angry and won't buy another Suncast Shed product again.

The shed was perfectly designed and well made. We are like it very much.

Great shed and sturdy. Instructions do need to be modified and be clearer. Pre prep of certain parts should be considered. Received the shed with one section damaged. Continued with assembly anyway. The shipment company refused to place the Item in the area I requested. This added time and work to my project. Would not recommend this shipment company. Octavo

Goes together pretty easily, did it all by myself, I’d recommend 2 people though. Solid and water tight, looks great too .

Very nice shed. Wasn’t too difficult to assemble. Feels strong and is a great replacement to our old wooden shed in our backyard. Roomy inside as well. Would recommend!

Disclaimer; I knocked down an outdoor BBQ pit and used the slab it was on so that made the preparation easier. Pros The directions were pretty easy to understand. Medium difficulty install, I would say the toughest parts are the foundation and the roof attachment. The hardware is typical; Phillips head and 5/16". My suggestion is use a drill or mini impact with an apex with Phillips head and 5/16", it will go much faster. Cons. The labeling in the forefront should be in the directions portion.

Plastic is not very strong in the hot sun and pieces do not come marked for easy setup

Was able to build it solo on a Sunday. All went together well but not sure if it would survive a big storm event or deter a determined thief.

Some damage from shipping, but nothing structural. The shed took 4 hours to build with two people. I decieded to pour a cement base. Absolutely love this shed. Very roomy and looks nice.

Instructions can be confusing, take the time to read them several times before each step. The screen vent covers are cheap and tear easily.The door assembly is poorly thought out and no adjustment on the hinges. Overall product solid and looks great!

Love it, Very easy to assemble and has survived through two super strong winded storms this far.

I was intimidated at first but pressed on and followed the instructions to the letter. Great product and I trust the Suncast Brand . Using my muffin pans really helped to keep the nuts and bolts right where I could find them . Even though my shed has a pinched corner from the shipping strap I was able to use a putty knife to slide it together. Also used two ladders when putting on the roof , the ladder held the trusses and the roof pieces so I could pull them up while on my ladder. It took me about 5 Hrs to complete and I buried conduit with heavy extension cord to bring light into my shed . The hardware bag was missing but I went to Home Depot with my manual and they pulled everything I needed with no charge to me. I love my new shed , great purchase !

Some heavy lifting, with a level base all panels fit perfectly. Very sturdy. An evening to prep the windows and trusses, a Saturday to assemble. Neighbors commented how nice it looks.

Like the design, and seems solid once assembled. Had to make some adjustments to make it all fit: 1. One of the metal beams was too long so had to shorten it with a Dremel tool. 2. Had to make two adjustments for the door handles to fit, again dremel and a drill. 3. The doors don't fit flush, but they close. Took about 7 hours to assemble (including adjustments) Some of the drawings in the instructions are a bit too small and hard to read.

The shed is nice looking and solid. The base has to be perfect in order for this shed to be assembled easy.

Positives: - Shed is sturdy enough (used caulking in the various exterior seams to further weatherproof it). - Except for the 2 floor sections (explained below and shown in the photo), the larger major parts fit together snugly and firmly. - No gaps in the front doors to easily allow entry of water/dirt/insects (a common problem for some sheds). - Instructions were relatively easy to follow, a single person is able to perform the entire construction. Negatives: - Shipment was missing the truss bracket, so work had to be halted in the middle of construction. Had also ordered the 8x10 shed (#8100) and that too was MISSING THE SAME PART ! - It took forever (over 2 WEEKS) for Suncast to ship those missing parts. In the meantime, the unfinished shed was exposed to the sun, which caused the 2 floor sections to separate and create a wide gap down the middle (the foundation for the shed is a concrete slab). The Suncast product team needs to improve on how those 2 floor sections are connected because the small screws don't seem to be very secure, even before the prolonged sun exposure had occurred. - There were a few places where the screws didn't penetrate easily (metal-to-metal connections) or didn't grip tightly as expected (plastic-to-plastic connections). - The Suncast product team needs to improve on the quality of the 2 gable vents, such as providing parts with the screen framed by plastic that can then be screwed onto the gable, as opposed to just the flimsy screen with holes punched in it for screwing directly to the gable. - The Suncast product team should consider providing tinted windows or optional film for the doors to reduce heat/sunlight damage to the shed interior (our shed faces the south).

A very well designed and beautiful shed. Excellent instructions and easy to assemble. Beware though - - - the very large boxes are shipped upright and held together with plastic wrap so be careful when you cut the wrap.

This shed comes pretty much as advertised. Pretty long set up, but once done, good to go. Only thing I'm not stoked about is the lack of shelving or lack of design that went into planning for shelves. Let's face it... if you are buying a shed, then you are looking to store stuff. So why not make it easy, by planning this into the design and/or its supporting structures? I mean, even the support bars that exist have holes that would have been a lot more useful if they just made them a bit more accessible for hooks and such. I don't care if they are even sold separately... and some actually are... but they are just a joke... just sort of an afterthought by number-crunchers looking to add revenue by offering the perception of value instead of creating real value. Over all this is a solid shed, with lots of good design touches in place, but you will need to invest in several rack systems and don't plan on utilizing the roomy area of the pitched roof for anything useful without some creative customization. Last gripe, and its a minor one, is that there ought to be a more thoughtful way to anchor the doors in the open position. As it is, you need to use camp stakes or bungee cords or rocks, etc. Overall, I'm pretty happy, and would buy it again if I had to do it over... I'm just providing constructive criticism for the designers and for buyers looking to set realistic expectations.

It’s looks a beautiful and good quality of product. It’s the perfect size shed about 104 square feet. You don’t need a permission or bylaws matter from the city of Toronto. It is acceptable for the bylaws zoning. Do not require a permit from the city of Toronto. Most of the cities are allowed this perfect size shed. You should check the bylaws matters if you’re other than Toronto GTA. As it is very reasonable price only in Home Depot, I would like to recommend anyone to buy it. You will be happy with this product.

Went together pretty easy. So far I’m pleased with the purchase. We’ll see how it holds up over the years. Received a few compliments already. I advise constructing a firm base to set it on. See pictures.

Had it assembled by home depot contractors after reading the reviews. It took them just over 4 hours. And would have taken me 2 weekends, I'm sure. So worth it to me. It looks great. Actually pretty solid after it's up. I've had it up for a few weeks and it's rained pretty hard and no leaks anywhere. Totally happy. My only regret was not buying it in March Because on April 1st the price went up considerably as did installation price. My fault for procrastinating

Easy to put up. I put the small items together in the basement first..getting the outside and inside part of the windows together was the hardest part, use a nail to get the holes lined up. I stared off with a bed of crusher run gravel then I used 4 x 4's the bottom then 2 x 6's along the outside to go to grade. That added and inch or two to the final outside dimensions to the base, I covered that up with some plastic trim and caulked around the outside to keep water from getting under the building and into the plywood. The instructions came in box 2 of 2 instead of box 1 but this is my second building and I printed that out from online.

I hired some guys to put it together for me and I'm glad I did. It took them 2 days! It's a great shed with plenty of storage. Very nice looking too. Even the neighbors are impressed with it. Make sure to have a good level foundation for it like a concrete slab.

MY SUNCAST IS MAYBE 2 TO 3 YEARS OLD AND IT IS IN BAD SHAPE. THE PLASTIC HAS SPLIT AT ALL THE COR... My Suncast is maybe 2 to 3 years old and it is in bad shape. The plastic has split at all the corners from top to bottom. This is because they designed the corners to be one panel that folds at the corner and is joined with a thin strip of plastic. The plastic appears to have also shrank as I recently moved it and noticed a bunch of breaks where the roof connects to the body. The breaks were mainly at the metal roof support beams. My theory is that the metal has not reduced in length and as such, has prevented the plastic from drawing in at those points. I also noted that the roof has curled up likewise probably due to shrinking. The steel sleeve on the doors is now about 1/2" longer than the plastic door meaning the door shrank that much. I had to trim this (and other steel parts) to make it work again. Finally, the sky lights are brittle and broken in many places. (silicon, man's best friend) If I were to do it again, I would purchase the competition sold through Home Depot's competition. (I can't state brands or this will again be rejected). I assembled one of those for a friend and the design was superior. I think the competition probably understands plastic better than Suncast.
