The door closure kit contained all I needed to replace my old closer except INSTRUCTIONS! The form with the pictures didn’t tell me a whole lot. I have another one of these doors that I could look at and learn from, but most would not. How hard can it be to include instructions?!

Exact replacement of what I need. Delivered much sooner than originally expected.

This closer/ opener has been great with my disability. It gives me time to go through door with my wheelchair. Not having to manipulate the metal thing to hold it open and them fighting with it to get it closed is great

The replacement part was a perfect fit. Everything lined up. So the mounting wads quite easy, and accurate.

The storm door bump closer kit was easy to install in less than 10 minutes.

It restored my storm door’s closing speed to the way it was when the door was new. I had been ignoring the fact that the door was “slamming” shut from a worn-out closer—until the glass became loose and I had to fix that problem as well.

I have an Andersen storm door with this very bump closer and this piece is pure junk. It didn't hold the door open during a gust of wind during a storm. Buyer beware. Stay away from Emco/Andersen products for storm doors.

Easy to install, works great

The door bump closer always jammed from the day I had the door installed. If you put the door in the lock position to keep it opened, it would get stuck and stay stuck until you disengaged it and played with it until it unlocked. I expected much better from an Andersen product but I was highly disappointed with the entire door. The door would not shut cleanly and the locking mechanism was poor as well. At least the Andersen windows I had installed have worked very well. Stay away from the doors though.

Broke within 2 weeks. This was my second time having to replace closers for this Andersen door. I’ve had nothing but problems with the door and all of its parts since it was installed a year ago.

Replacement for Andersen storm doors...BUT... this kit doesn't come with the bracket base for the door frame so you are not directly screwing the bracket onto the door frame and when the accidentally overextends you risk ripping the screws right out of the frame. The base was what helped save the bracket from digging into the wood frame when a gust of wind over extended the closer and it bent the bracket but didn't rip the screws out of the wood. Also this kit should of been either for the standard closer or the push button closer and not both.

I love

Easy to install. Provides good closing force, though with a bit of a "slam" at the end. Maybe it could be a little softer.

Recieved sooner than told when ordered. Easliy installed.

It was a piece of cake to instal the replacement unit.

These door bump was just what I needed. They was easy to install. I did not have to replace the existing hardware they fit perfectly to the hardware which I have on my storm door. I guess it helped that I do have an Anderson Storm door.

The hydraulic closer has already started to fail. I will be returning it today.
