    A:  Our push-button closers are pneumatic and operates using compressed air. The typical opening range of a storm door is between 80º and 90º. With your entry door open, the storm door should open within nearly 6" - 8" (inches) from the frame, bounce away slightly and then close completely and latch. - Charmaine

      A:  The reason I bought a replacement was because the wind took my door and bent the closer. I never had any issues with noise from either the original or the replacement.

        A:  I have not experienced that noise of problem. Might be an alignment issue.
