I ordered this online for store delivery. I needed to replace the existing kit because it wasn't working and the door would slam shut. This kit fixed the problem and was much cheaper than replacing the whole door.

The closer does not allow the door to open all...
The closer does not allow the door to open all the way. It goes to about 75 degrees open and then stops. The old one would open much wider. The package also arrived opened.

Storm door closer
The only problem I had was I needed the sand color but black worked just as well. No one noticed the difference

Quick Fix!
LOL! Once I read the directions, installation became easy! It appeared to be the same brand as the one on my door that had broken. It was much cheaper than a new door! And so easy to adjust. It is nice to not have the slamming door anymore! I love having items shipped to the store and avoiding the freight charge!

Poor quality.
The original hardware on my ($600) storm door broke and I ordered this hardware as a replacement. This product is the second one I have ordered and both have been defective. I will try for a third time, as I have no alternative. I hope that the third order is the charm.
