[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I wanted to put a privacy fence around our property. When it came to the gates we wanted wide and long hinges that you see many people use. They are wide at one end and gets smaller on the other. They are black and are very strong. You could see them out in the country, barn gates. They are easy to install and are heavy duty. They are actually very easy to install and once installed they give off a old Time charm. We were able to install them very easy , and are very durable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to replace a very weathered hinge on my shed door. I am not very handy and am still learning this skill so I had trouble removing the old hinge. With my neighbors help it was gone and I was ready to install the new one. The only complaint I have is that there were no screws to attach it and being new to home repairs I had to bring the hinge to my local hardware store and match it for screws. After that I was golden. I drilled the holes and screwed the hinge into place. I do think that the hinge is made of heavy duty material. I hope it lasts as long as I need it to.

We’ll be sure to pick up another one. The screws are nice and heavy. Seem thicker than what usually comes with these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These National T-Hinges are perfect for shed doors, fence gates, etc. Heavy duty hinges are a combination of a strap Hinge and a butt hinge. Holes are countersunk for screws. Come in 4,5,6, and 8 inch's sizes. Galvanized with weatherguard coating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this heavy T-hinge to good use by securing it to my peg board and hanging my caulk with caulk gun on it. You have to turn the hinge to the side that stays stationary and then secure it and hang whatever you would like to on it. I have seen other creative ideas such as painting it upright like a carrot, using two hinges on a piece of wood like a door and adding a handle or simply hanging it as I did to display--tools, jacket, clothing, ties, etc... Although you could use this the standard way--for a gate or such, I prefer to get creative!!

I found these 8” National Hardware Extra Heavy T Hinges in black powder coated steel. As National Hardware is a division of Stanley, I knew these hinges would be of the highest quality. These hinges have an exclusive bearing system. This set comes with two hinges and 16 heavy duty screws. A pair of hinges is rated for a workload of 45 lbs. Additional hinges can be added to increase workload amount. I highly recommend these powder coated steel hinges by National Hardware - a division of Stanley!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These bad boys are heavy duty! They are also Very large, which will be perfect for my barn door project! I really like that each of these are roughly about 8" wide by 5 3/4" tall. Because they are so wide, I should get a very sturdy door that shouldnt sag after time. I need to buy 2 more of these so I can have 2 doors that latch in the middle. I may decide to go with 3 hinges per door if I go with an 7 ft door. For added strength!

These hinges are very easy to install with several holes for easy placement, and a very secure attachment. They are heavy duty, and have a nice weight to them. They swing open and closed nice and smooth. Two of these hinges easily hold my gate up, and swing it open and closed perfectly. I would recommend these for anyone looking for strong, heavy duty hinges.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These T Hinges really hold up and really make a gate, screen, whatever you’re working with very safe, it closes quick so it reduces the chance for rodents to sneak in! Easy to assemble, you can pretty much use these anywhere. Not only do they work amazingly well, but you get added security that these are hard to disassemble once in place!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] used one as a replacement for a crawl space trap door hinge. worked great and is very snug in the hinge area, no flex like on some similar cheaper hinges i have tried in the past. I will definitely replace the other 2 hinges with this same model when its time.

The gate has been up about a week now and so far so good with the hinges working properly. We'll be getting a second set to work on the other side of the gate later this year.

I had to replace a piece of rotten trim that the old hinges used to be mounted to and they were beaten up. These hinges work perfectly and the door swings nicely now.

These were perfect for the door so that I can get in and out of the U shaped raised garden bed area. These gave not only function we needed for the gate but to also give it that farm look. We ended up using our own screws as we needed longer ones.

Not only do they give the support and function that we needed. They also give that farm look. While it was nice they came with screws, we ended up using our own to give it more of a heavy duty job. Plus the screws that are with this, were too short.

Now I'm not saying I'm an average builder I'm a beginner putting that out there 1st. I proceeded to do my best at welding welding these hinges on to my door to make it open and close close flawlessly. However like I said I was a beginner so my husband had to come behind me and fix my mistake thank God these are very well made hinges heavy duty can take a welding and get welding and a burn back off and place it in kind of beating and still have the same integrity as it did with the 1st mess up.

It's lightweight but strong and I'm sure will last as long as I need it to. Not flimsy like the previous hinge that bent when a wind gust caught the door.

We knew we needed to replace with something heavy duty but also aesthetically pleasing. These hinges fit the bill perfectly for our wooden gate. Very heavy duty with 8 screws to secure each hinge. Easy to install and the black finish looks very nice.

It is heavy enough and large enough to carry a heavy load. Opening this door is easy as can be and it opens completely and then closes tight. I feel like this hinge will last a long time with daily use.
