very difficult to change the bits. Too impractical.

Quality tool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this screwdriver about a year ago and I love it. I found myself reaching for it every time I had a small project where a big impact driver was too much.

Older version much better than the cheaper new ver
I have had these screwdrivers for Many years for servicing rental properties & general use and just LOVE them. The rubber is so comfortable and the ratcheting mechanisms & bit holder is great! No issues with any of them.... until the newer (more plasticy) version was released. I've had 2 of these, and I think BOTH of them just had the shaft fall right out, no pressure or anything. I can't even see how it could hold into the handle. Also the new ones have either too tight of an exterior bit holder, or it's MAGNATIZED- both very bad ideas (you can't get bits out anymore). Old model rocks, new model, bad. Stanley did replace them right away, but the hard plastic is not as comfortable as the older ones that were more rubbery. Hope this helps!

Saves your wrists and steps
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my multi-bit ratcheting screwdriver about 15 years ago using a gift card i got when I retired. It is the best tool purchase I ever made. It is handy for virtually all household repairs as well as wood-working projects. And, in a pinch, it makes a good substitute for a drill driver if you forgot to bring that tool along. Having the right bit for any screw is a real time- and step- saver.

The older model was much better. The end cap that houses extra tips doesn’t always screw on evenly and the holder for tips got twisted and disfigured when trying to open the cap while tips were inserted. Just a mess. Also the grip and feel of the previous model was better.

Total piece of crap. The first one I had literally just fell apart when I was using. The second one...the exact same thing happened. You cant put it back together because all the springs fall out and it wont stay together. Do not buy this garbage.

Really Flimsy
I purchased a Stanley multi-head screwdriver less than 3 months ago and today it fell apart in my hands. It was always a but flimsy but for $16, I expected a but more. Very disappointed.

Great Screwdriver set to keep in a Kitchen Drawer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I receved this as a gift several years ago and it has been my goto screwdriver for any small job in the house. It's helped fix everything, from shelving and toys to pot handles. It has all the bits I need in one hand. No more trips to the shed in Winter.

Poor bit storage design
There is no easy access and fast changeover of bits. Bits stored in the slots in the collar do not come out easily or quickly. The slots are so tight I have to pry them out. There is additional storage in the handle. However, the rounded triangle-shaped cap is poorly designed so the corners don't line up when closed, and cap digs into my hand.

It broke the first time I tried to use it (ratcheting action came apart) . It wasn't even a hard job, I was assembling IKEA furniture. Regretfully , it has been over 30 days since I purchased it so it cannot be retuned. Do not buy

This is a great tool. I bought this one as a gift for a friend. Good quality and all the driver heads you need all together so you don't have to be searching all the time. Oddly they didn't have it at my Home Depot so I had to order it online and then pick up.

Poorly Designed Not Great Quality
The bits stored in the collar require some other tool (nail file perhaps?) to extract them. The cap at the butt end loosens as you use tool. Inside same cap, the plastic moldings for holding bits are not shaped properly. And it's just less hassle to use the non-ratcheting setting. Better yet, an old fashioned screwdriver is more solid.

Not What I Expected
I was only looking to replace the 1/4" driver for my socket set; saw this and figured it would be a nice upgrade. It's really not that well made. The ratchet sort of works but I find just using it in the locked position works best. The cap on the top of the handle holds the bits in place, but it won't tighten. If you get it "almost tight" it pops off. The plastic is too soft to get it really well seated. I find I have to check it every so often because if not, it'll pop off and then you're hunting for bits. The bit holder at the top of the drive is very handy but a bit hard to get the bits out and won't hold bits from other sources. Should have gotten the 1/4" driver and not gone for the flash and dash :-/

Great all-in-one
This is a super useful, strong as nails little screwdriver set. I originally bought one for my home (vs workshop) tool kit, but liked it so much that I bought two more, one for the workshop and one as a gift.

Best non-pro screwdriver on the market
I'm not sure if maybe I got a fluke, but this ratcheting screwdriver is hands down the best ratcheting screwdriver I've ever used, besides Snap-On but they cost $75-100. The grip is easy on my hands and the rubber part lets you really put a lot of torque into it. The ratchet function is incredibly smooth, definitely a fine tooth mechanism that reminds me of how smooth a GearWrench ratcheting wrench feels like, no slipping, and almost zero drag, easily selectable forward, reverse or fixed-non ratchet. I also appreciate the on bit storage, and have no problems with the butt cap coming unscrewed while I use it, the previous posters should lift some weights or something and tighten the cap down tightly so it doesn't come unscrewed. Best value ratcheting screwdriver I've ever used, I'll be buying my brother one for a cheap Christmas present. Previously I HATED ratcheting screwdrivers, but after buying this one it's the only driver I reach for unless I need a special size for something.

Excellent addition to my toolbox
this product allows keeps everything together as far as a screwdriver goes. no need to have multiple screwdrivers - just change out the head for the size and shape you need.

does what you need it to do.
It's sturdy and has a good grip. Easy to switch from the left and right drive, but it is a bit bulky. You can't really fit 5hat many heads in the storage area because of the design on the inside, and the plastic tabs break easy on the cap lid for some reason. The bits on the head are difficult to get out, but all in all, it's sturdy and does the job. I would recommend this for the price.

Hard to get the bits out
The best part about this is that it's a ratcheting screwdriver, with quite a few bits to choose from, and better yet, the bits are stored in the screwdriver itself. It came with some sort of mounting device, but I didn't use it.
It has two storage areas, one around the barrel of the screwdriver on the outside ("external storage"), and a second storage compartment ("internal storage") that is accessed by by unscrewing the cap on the handle. The external storage compartment is accessed through a rotating ring. That ring keeps the bits in place, and you can rotate it to access one specific screwdriver bit. In practice though, bits in external storage are hard to get out no matter how you turn that ring (though turning it upside-down is marginally helpful). The bits inside the screwdriver are much easier to access, and is where your most frequently used bits should go.
I gave it a "Quality=Average" rating for not being able to release the external storage bits -- seems like it wasn't designed quite right. Otherwise it seems fairly sturdy for small projects around the house.

Handy but awkward...
Came with a reasonable supply of bits, but the on board storage of same makes the device a little awkward to use, as does the relative difficulty of changing the direction of the action without using both hands. But hey….it was cheaper than buying a whole set of screwdrivers.

Screwdriver
I really don't have a lot to say, but I really like this tool and I love the built-in storage for additional bits...
