Definitely serves it's purpose for folks that are vision challenged or need to see from a distance. Pricey for what it does.

I purchased this caller ID to use in the family room while we watch TV. We liked it so well I bought a second one for the bedroom to get those late-night and early-morning callers. As a senior citizen it's hard for me to see the caller ID on the phone so this is a big improvement. If you want to screen your calls with caller ID while your sight isn't what it used to be, I highly recommend this.

Caller id is great for anyone who cannot see well. Bright and clear letters and numbers. Good for everyone, can see who is calling easily.

You have to watch 3 scroll lines to see whose calling. I prefer to see name and phone number at the same time. Very easy to see tho.

I purchased one of these from Home Depot about eight months ago. Our TV cable provider does not mix with other telephone vendors to display on-screen caller ID. Most of the other caller IDs are too small to see from any distance. I am quadriplegic so it's difficult for me to get around to look at the small display on the phone. The first one I purchased we place in our family room next to our TV so we can read it from 25-30 feet. That works so good I purchased the second unit for my office so I can see it from anywhere in the room and from the next room. It's a great device to screen unwanted or annoying phone calls. It's not cheap but I highly recommend it for seniors or handicapped who can't always see good or get around easily.

I bought this for my 85 year old mother, and it is easier for her to see the calls coming in. She has two in her home! I can see the caller ID clear across the room when I'm at her home.

This product is exactly what I wanted. Easy to set up; easy to see from across the room, and easy to use. Completely satisfied.

The display is large and easy to see from across a medium size room. I have one in my home office and another in our TV room.

Item is well made and can definitely be read from over 20 feet away. The only drawback is the price. I feel the item is grossly overpriced for a caller ID identifier and clock.

I already own one of these Caller ID units and love it. It is easy to plug into the phone unit and the numbers are visible across the room. This purchase was a gift for relatives. I know how inconvenient it is to get up to look at the phone's tiny caller ID screen every time it rings, so I know it will be used constantly and appreciated by the recipient.

now I can ignore telemarketers, I no longer run to phone only to be told your credit is fine, this is your last notice, now I just smile and ignore, am buying more for other rooms in the house. Love it

Only been using the Telenote for a month, but I have been happy with the large bright display, easy to read.

I recently bought standalone "large character" LCD caller ID units from other outlets. They were hard to read from just a foot or two because the LCD contrast was not good. This product can be easily read from the next room and the units quality is high. It even includes extra faceplates of different colors to fit your décor. I am very happy with this product and delivery was quick.

Love the large caller ID display, it is easy to read from across the room. I only wish the display would also show an incoming call while you are using the phone.

This is the best caller Id that I have ever owned. The display is large and bright you can see who is calling you from across the room. The best part is that it does not require any batteries and it is very easy to install.When a call is not coming in it is a clock so you get 2 gadgets for the price of one. I love this and am very pleased that I purchased. It also comes with 2 other faceplates so if you do not like the stainless steel look you have 2 other faceplates to choose from. It was expensive as far as a typical caller Id but it was well worth the money. I have received several compliments on my new caller Id.

Bought it to replace an Olympia caller ID, it's good display the only thing we wished is that the display can be dimmed a bit.

I'm 73 and I have been searching for a caller ID unit that I can read without glasses for years. If I'm watching TV the caller ID is displayed on the TV. That's great... if I'm watching TV. If I'm watching a movie I have to turn on a light, put on my reading glasses and look at the tiny LCD screen to see who id trying to sell me what. This unit has a very large red LED display that is readable without glasses from across the room. First it displays the caller ID and then it displays the phone number. When inactive, it displays the call number, until cleared, and the time. I bought two of them, one for the living room and one for my bedroom. I now have a LED clock and a caller ID that I can read without glesses in a dark room. I love these things. Thanks Home Depot, for selling this much needed item.

When we got rid of the satellite bill & went back to an antenna, the one thing we really missed was caller ID on the TV screen. This works great, we put it next to our TV & it's large enough to see, so when we have that rare time when we are enjoying a movie or TV show we don't need to jump up & check the ID on our phone only to find it some sales call.

It was a present for my husband. He really likes to be able to see the larger printing to see who is calling. The caller id on his telephone is too small. It solves the problem for him. We all enjoy it tremendously.

I bought this unit as a replacement for my blue globe caller id unit, which was no longer decipherable. After looking through many websites, I found this perfect caller id unit on Home Depot's website, and ordered it immediately. The red numbers are clear but not too bright, and just the right size to be visible across the room, and the unit is compact enough to sit on a desktop. I received it promptly and the unit works great. I am very happy with the entire transaction.

WHILE THIS PRODUCT DOES GIVE THE INFO ABOUT THE CALL COMING IN IT IS LACKING BECAUSE IT IS A SCROLL. I HAVE OWNED PREVIOUS CALLER ID'S WHICH HAVE A FULL SCREEN SHOWING EVERYTHING AT ONCE. YOU CAN READ THE DATE--TIME--PHONE NUMBER==AND ANY ID---UNAVAILABLE ETC. ON THIS YOU MUST WATCH THE SCROLL AND IF YOU MISS IT THEN YOU MUST REVIEW IT AND WAIT FOR EACH ITEM TO SHOW. IT IS A NUISANCE. IT ALSO IT TOO BRIGHT WITH NO DIMMER. MY OLD CALLER ID ONCE THE CALL WAS REVIEWED WOULD GO DARK. MUCH BETTER. TOO BAD IT WAS DISCONTINUED. THIS SEEMS TO BE THE ONLY THING AVAILABLE.

Bought for my grandpa with trouble seeing the traditional caller ID boxes with gray font on a gray background. The contrast of large, bright red font on a black background is perfect for him to read with ease.

It is everything that was advertised, plus being a good "night light". We've ordered another one for another floor of the home. Both do a great job.

The TELNOTE caller ID is just what I have been looking for. Buying a phone with a caller id is a waste because they are small and most do not have a lighted display. No more jumping up and running to the phone to see who is calling. The display is big and can be seen easily from a long distance. I use this one on my desk and it is great. Well worth the money and Home Depot is fast on shipping. I have ordered another one for my wife's sewing room upstairs. I have also purchased the larger version direct from TELNOTE which I have in the family room above the television. The product works fine straight out of the box. If you need the larger one you can visit telenote.com to check it out. This version will work very well for most people. One thing to note is that the TELNOTE comes with three additional snap on face plates on top of the standard black. When you receive the TELNOTE it will have one of the snap ons already on. Your first impression is that I thought it was black. Just take off the snap on and you will have your standard black.

Large enough to read from the distance in our house. Dislplays the caller-id quickly when the phone rings. Shows number of calls since last reviewed. Displays name and number, alternating, and the date and time when idle. Got this to replace a globe type display from a different vendor which finally died after many years of good service and is no longer on the market. Still would prefer the globe type display, so that it could be seen from all angles, but this is a decent substitute.

all the way around - it was an easy and pleasant transaction. Easily found on their website and shipped quite quickly. Nothing peeves me more than to purchase something and then wait weeks for it. The caller ID unit is in large letters and numbers in a vivid red. You can see who's calling from across the room. No eye straining. Very pleased, thank you!

This was a gift for my husband. When our old infoglobe quit he really missed knowing who was calling. This is definitely easy to read and another great feature is having the correct time displayed. Electricity goes out frequently in our town and this is one clock I do not have to reset. Good price too.
