The kit was missing 8 poles. What a nice surprise when it’s 90% assembled, then to find out all the parts needed to finish were missing.

Assembly was more challenging than expected but the result was acceptable. Material quality remains to be seen.

So far so good. Had a little problem with burrs on drilled holes and some of the part numbers on the tubing was hard to read because of smearing. Have not been up to the lake the last 2 weekends to check to see how it stood up to the storms that went thru. Overall so far it is a 4 1/2 star for me.

High quality fabric way better then the cheaper ones pipes are sturdy size is amazing. I do not like they expect you to cut holes in it for vents/pulley that is horrible so I didn’t do it for fear it won’t be right or will leak also pulley system is bogus for opening door Great investment overall.

The directions for assembly are awful. They have a picture that is for all sizes. We put it together and have 4 pipes that we don't know what they are for. No where in the directions do they say when/where to put them. It would be nicer if the parts and directions were for the size of cover that we bought. The bolts and nuts were in one big bag and didn't have a description of them. They should put each different fastener in their own bag. We also have about 8 bolts that we are not sure where they were supposed to go. The cover has about 6 different rips that we found after we assembled it, and we are not about to take it back apart! Tape it is.

the product is excellent and I am very happy with the final product. I gave it 4 stars because the assembly instructions are horrible and caused a lot of re-doing things. I am more mechanical than most and still had difficulty with assembly. The directions are generic for a smaller size, as you go to the larger sizes they just add components but there is no diagram showing additional components. Also, the elbows at the bottom of the roof need to be installed in a certain orientation and it is not mentioned or illustrated anywhere in the directions. My advice is lay all components out before assembling and see how thing are going to end up when complete. Getting thee cover properly installed with no bellies or sags seems to be at least a 2 part process. I have only had it up 2 weeks so far but I have experienced heavy rain and 50 mph winds. The shelter did fine and stayed dry inside.

With it now complete, it suits my purpose, but as others posted directions were terrible.I lot of key details left out, Other thing, I purchased 13 feet wide, 28 feetlong, what it does not tell you ANYWHERE is the end panels need to be 12 feet for the end targets a to fit, 5 hours or rework ank

Very good product.

Everything was pretty good except having to use a file to rem holes to get the bolts to go thru the holes , which defeats the purpose of the powder coating.

The tarp part of building had 6 holes in it about size of pencil eraser out of box, the tarp where bottom metal pieces slide through was not cut in some places and incorrectly cut in others. Very frustrating when trying to assemble.

Overall assembly was easier than I thought it might be but there were some problems with the alignment of the bolt holes in the large rib framing. On a few I had to drill through one side , on one had to drill through both sides, Some t and cross brackets were missing,but were shipped to me fast

Assembly took a while, directions were poor. I can't say about durability since I just put it up but it does look good. If you where to want this for a truck garage you need to get something wider or use for smaller vehicle.

Way harder to put together than YouTube says and took many more hours. The instructions leave a lot to be desired. But in the end we have a safe weather proof place for our boat.

Very sturdy bldg.

Do your homework. I have set up a few Shelterlogic garages and this unit was sturdy after everything was tightened up. Not so much during installation. Main problem is its advertised 12x28x8 and this is not very accurate. I needed a 8ft door so by the description this would work. Turns out it's 8ft at the peak and only a 6.5ft garage opening. In order to get this I needed the 12x28x10 instead. Unfortunately this was a special order to Alaska so returning this is not an option.

The shelter seems to be strong and sturdy. Assembly was sometimes a pain. Directions were awful. “Put this together, then take it apart, then put it back together” Really? Can we just put it together once please? I Advise to read everything first, then assemble as you see fit.

I would encourage that the manual be updated, as it certainly take more than 3 hours for 2 people. One section of the door had missing teeth on the zipper, but ShelterLogic is sending a replacement. I liked how the boxes each had an inventory list..all parts were accounted for. Very helpful in sorting all the angles, poles, nuts and bolts. We have only had 2 weeks, but hope with the proper care it will last many years.

I was very pleased with the end result of my Green Steel and Polyethylene Garage. It really was better then I expected. The set up process was pretty straightforward with a few glitches as I will explain. First some of the pieces which were all there, did not have a number stamp on them and I guessed by comparing the other pieces and then put them in place. I realized once the frame was all in place that I had made two mistakes on one of the end pieces. It was easy enough to climb up and swap the two piece which fixed the issue. My suggestions is make double sure you note which pieces have either illegible numbers or no numbers at all and just take your time making sure they are going in the right place. Secondly the instructions are to attach the bottom railing before pulling over the canvas and then undoing them to slide them through the sleeves. I did the four corners one section in and then did the rest after the cover was pulled over. Good to go. Lastly the instructions call for cutting a small slit in the canvas for the end door rope, I did not do that and just tied the rope to the first brace (it is pretty obvious when you have the end piece in place) so I did not have to cut the canvas. Again very pleased with the end result and this looks to be an extremely sturdy Garage.

Screw holes in the poles were not always finish smooth and needed to be pounded down with a hammer, and one of the long special screws had no threads.. Also the dimension across the front/back was way lesss than 15'6", which is what I planned for. One more thing, it didn't tell you how to keep the door open when you use it. I had to look online for a solution.

The directions said 3 hours. It took me 1 and 1/2 days. Some holes did not line up and I had to drill them.

Overall decent product. Some of the holes weren't aligned the best, so I had to run a drill through them before connecting tubes. Instructions could have been a little more clear on the size of fasteners for each specific connection. Wish I would have got the heavier cover, the ~ 9 oz. is thin.

Easy to follow instructions. Easy to assemble. Finished shelter appears sturdy and water proof. Recently installed and hope it lasts for years to come.
