This product is very good at creating a small area of shade. Product looks more interesting when hung at an angle than when hung at flat level.

In love that this comes with everything you need to install, except the poles. I was expecting more of a cloth material but this is plasticy. More like a garden mesh than actual sailcloth. Don't know how it will hold up I'm the elements but we'll give it a try.

I built my dogs a run on the side of the house and used artificial grass. Knowing that the artificial grass gets very hot in direct sunlight, I ordered and installed this shade as in the afternoon there is no shade on the side of the house, and it gets very hot in the summer here. Attached easily, and came with all necessary hardware. Very sturdy materials and stitching. I did put a pole concreted into the ground for one corner. So far it has stood up to some fairly good winds.

I measured out my area and decided on this size but it really did a poor job in blocking out the sun. I'm going with a square format even though the triangle is a lot cooler looking, l'm returning this. If your in between sizes, go bigger!

Great shade cloth. The nylon cord supplied with it is..meh, but the cloth, D rings & hardware are worthy.

We ordered the heavy duty shade sail (230 GS sail) which is a sturdy product that came will all mounting accessories needed - great product for the price!

The Sun Shade sails work well, however I had to contact Home Depot to see if they had been shipped. The Home Depot representative finally tracked someone down from the manufacturer who said they had been shipped. I received them that day - but then received another shipment of the exact same product a week later. I returned the extra product to Home Depot, but the manufacturer needs to do a better job of tracking inventory and shipments.

We use it to shade part of our pool during the hottest part of the day.

The shade works really well in the Texas sun. blocks the hot sun but lets just enough light through. Because of it's shape I would use two overlapping shade to cover my patio. I would prefer a right triangle shape. The hardware provided is handy. I added longer more sturdy lines, and caribieners for easier removal when a thunderstorm comes.

The sail is very lightweight but does provide ample shade. It was really easy to hang up, too. I'm planning on getting another!

AS long as it lasts great purchase. Came with al of the attachment hardware.

This is very well made. Be aware it is not completely sun or waterproof, it's made of a heavy duty thick mesh type material, not a solid fabric, but it works great. The hardware alone would cost close to $20 so you can't beat the price and the shade itself is very well made and looks like it will last a long time.

I first bought the slightly cheaper product that came in a bag. After 12 months they were in tatters. With these shade sails, 12 months later I am still overjoyed with them. They have a shine to them that the last ones didn't - which I quite like. Water permeates them more easily, which probably adds to the longevity of them. The shade is true and everyone comments on. I love them so much I'm finding new places to put more!

The components needed to hang this sail, which came with the item, were not strong enough to do the job. The bindings were damaged by the sun after one year.

My purpose for this purchase was for my dogs to have shade during the Hot summer time.

Easy two person install, or one person depending on anchor locations and the length or your arms. Only been up a month so I cant speak for longevity. Fit my use as added shade for a large dog run very well. Lets enough light through that the hybrid bermuda beneath is still flourishing.

Not much in the directions about how far apart to put posts. It looks nice and gives some shade. We will see how long it lasts in the Fl sun.

Just what I needed to shade my deck. Provides solid shaded area from southeast morning sun.

We needed shade for the deck. We ordered the 16 foot sail because it was the largest available. The color was attractive. The fabric is woven so that rain can drip through instead of pooling. Assembly was simple after we decided where the support lines could go on our house/yard. It rode through two very strong wind & rainstorms with no trouble at all. If they had a larger one, I would probably get it, because it isn't a true triangle -- the sides narrow in a bit.

As others have stated, the installation hardware is cheap. The shade itself is very well made with reinforced edges and nylon strap covering stainless steel mounts. It's holding up very well in the southern heat.

Has been up for 2 weeks now and has done well with our Nevada every day winds. My dogs and I have enjoyed the shade. Over all performance great. Good price for this heavy duty tarp . Has made my summer on the porch better.

Since sail is triangle shape wasn't sure of size since description said 12x12.. That being said item shipped in less than 5 day. Picture looks darker than actual color which has more yellow pigmentthan brown. In 2 months color has not faded being in direct sunlight. Provides shade over patio and was pleasantly surprised on how it repelled water. Better than what I expected for $30.

Wonderful! Have withstood 65mph winds since installed. they provide cool and comfort during summer heat. Will take down during cooler months. Very pleased!

Very good value....shipping to local store was slower than I had hoped.

The shade sail is sturdy and durable! It really cuts down on the hot Texas heat! Love it!
