Beautiful dark green and lush lawn after use!

What a great product. On bag covered complete lawn and hedges. I followed the label and set my spreader to the number on the bag. I have 4700 square foot of lawn and had some left over so I used it on my hedges. While spreading it on the lawn I also hit my wife's flowers. The gerbera daisies have never looked so good.

Using this product will product thick grass, very healthy green. I buy this product every spring, for a great lawn all summer

I purchased a handheld spreader to apply the Turf Builder granules & it was very helpful to achieve an even distribution. After caring for 3 dogs, who somewhat destroyed my backyard grass, on top of the South Texas Summer heat, I turned to this Turf Builder product to revamp my yard. I lightly watered, after the first application, & walked away, crossing my fingers. In the following weeks, we experienced several inches of rain & some area flooding. I'm not sure if the rain reinforced how well the product worked or not, but I'm grateful for the end result. After one application, my grass was thick, luscious, & really crowded out a few weeds I saw starting to grow! I couldn't be happier & will do another application soon!

I purchased a soil test kit after spending hundreds throughout the summer on fertilizer and only so-so results. The soil test kit told me I was very low on nitrogen, which is why I selected this fertilizer. Scotts Southern Turf Builder is a 32-0-10 fertilizer meaning 32% by weight of this 42 pound bag is Nitrogen, zero phosphorous and 10% by weight Potassium. I water my yard by irrigation once a week, in the morning for 15 minutes and 5 days later I can't get over how green my yard is. (Due to calculated nitrogen needs I laid 2 42# bags over my 1/3acre lot). I will definitely use this and recommend it again. Bermudagrass loves nitrogen and this was the cheapest bang for your buck in a high nitrogen fertilizer.

It does not work. All it does is burn and kill my grass It has no effect on clover or weed. Junk!!!

A very good fertilizer, though there were some clumps inside the bag that I had to break up.

After using the Scotts Turf Builder, the grass growth rate increased and was greener.

I normally use these bags of Scotts fertilizer with 29% Nitrogen for a quick green up. The yard had recently been scalped so I wanted to help it. There were tons of dead dry grass from 12 years of letting the cuttings fall and I got about 7 bags of the stuff on a not so large yard, both front and back. I set the drop spreader to 8 and used 2 of the big bags. It stayed on the yard for one day and then I turned on the sprinkler system for a small amount of water to be sprayed on the fertilizer. This time it did not green anything up and the price of two of the big bags is too high!......... Not satisfied! ...Mike Albritton, Rockwall Texas.

Product is OK, but store had huge amount at top of pallet where bags felt hardened from product clumping. Those bags looked old, maybe a shelf life problem or left out in humid weather. I've purchased this product at other stores including Loews with same problem. Fertilizer gets huge clumps and have to break it up or clogs up in spreader

Easy to put down...we'll see how it works in a few weeks as Spring goes on.
