Do not buy this Samsung Laundry Pedestal. Either Home Depot broke the clasp on one side or it's just a defective piece of junk. I have the 5 year extended warranty. Home Depot and Samsung, neither will repair or replace. And this is after spending $4000+ on washer, drier, two pedestals and stove. Will never buy any Samsung again, not after countless hours of "passing the buck" between Home Deport and Samsung. Now when the washer spins it vibrates very badly. This just does not make any sense. Home Deport blames Samsung and Samsung blames Home Deport.......and the "customer" ends up suffering as usual......never again. Guess I will have to go and get a "hose clamp" and fix the darn thing myself.

So overall the pedastal completes the look I wanted. I'm a little disappointed that I cannot fit some laundry detergents because they're slightly too tall. i was hoping to eliminate the shelf in my laundry room but that's not happening unless I buy the smaller sizes.

First off these Do Not automatically come with the washer and dryer. When my wife picked out the washer and dryer she told the lady she wanted them exactly how they were displayed (pedestals included). We even asked her again at check out if everything was coming with it and we were told yes. I know I should of double checked the receipt to make sure. I didn't. My wife was the one who looked at the receipt and noticed the pedestals where no where on there so she called Home Depot. They confirmed the pedestals were not included in our order. She explained to them she had told the lady she wanted the pedestals when we were ordering the washer and dryer. They said they were sorry and suggested to order online. The washer and dryer are delivered and we didn't like them without the pedestals. I'm 6'5. So we did end up ordering them online. The pedestals are expensive! But if that's not enough here's the real kicker, Home Depot will NOT install them if they were NOT PURCHASED AT THE SAME TIME WITH WASHER AND DRYER! You install them yourself. The washer and dryer looks nice with them. They add the height that's better on my back and wife's when doing the laundry. Plus our toddler now can't reach the buttons on the front. Overall it's more for looks. The drawers are nice but we don't really use them. The bottles of laundry detergent don't fit in them. For the extra 600 dollars we spent buying them wasn't really worth it. They look nice but not really worth it. They're are over priced.

I would give this a -5 star if I could. My first pedestal was dented...the delivery team said it would not affect the way the washer works. First time I tried it, the washer was banging and shaking from side to side. I discovered that one tiny dent turned into a huge dent on the side. I really believe that this pedestal does not support the weight of the washer. Second pedestal...dented, I sent it back. Third pedestal dented slightly, they installed again. As soon as the washer was placed on the pedestal, it buckled and dented again... This has been a nightmare. Samsung will not help at all, they say the pedestal is meant to work with my washer. I'm a witness that it does not. These pedestals are packaged horribly. Washer weight will cause it to buckle and collapse. Garbage product...

Recently purchased 2 of these Onyx pedestals for our brand new Samsung washer & dryer; purchased all together. While I think the appliances should stand taller by themselves, they do stand as tall as our old top load W/D. The pedestals are like the icing on the cake! As beautiful, classy & sexy as these appliances are, the pedestals just add to the functionality, convenience and overall visual appeal. I don't need to bend down very much to access clothes in dryer or washer to add/remove clothes......wonderful! The price seems a bit high adding about 25% to the cost, but overall still worth it. Samsung should offer a package deal of some sort. These are not cheap junk, very well made. I feel like we can expect them to hold up for the life of the appliances.....15 years? More? WE LOVE SAMSUNG PRODUCTS ❤️

Works well as far as I can tell. Raises washer to good height and appears sturdy enough. My old Maytag pedestal had a sliding cover to keep clothing from dropping into drawer and support laundry basket. Wish the Samsung pedestal had this feature.

design change and new frontloaders won't fit previous pedestals. was told that they change design regularly forcing us to buy new pedestal.

I bought this for my husband so that he would not hurt his back doing laundry. Love it!! It also has plenty of storage room, but not enough to store large sizes of detergent.

Really easy To install

This unit not only lifted the washer so you don't have to bend down to unload it. It also stopped it from walking (moving) when on spin cycle with a heavy load.

It works great. Already getting quite a workout in our new home. Lots of heave bedding being done and they handle the loads beautifully.

I wasn’t certain if this added expense was needed, but after using our washer and dryer for the first month with these pedestals...they’re definitely worth it! The storage is nice, and the ability to have the washer and dryer perched up higher is great.

the dryer is everything and more that i expected. a great product!

Good Product

My wife's friend talked her into these. Now her and the kids need step ladders just to put the detergent in. They're too small to hold dirty clothes. Plus it makes the washer much harder to balance. Nothing good about them

It makes the washer and dryer high enough. Could be alittle bigger so the bottle of fabric softener can stand up instead of having to lay it down.

The color is exactly what I wanted. The pedestals put the washer and dryer at a good working height. The only problem I have encountered is they aren’t y’all enough for a 1 gallon bottle of bleach but I knew that when I ordered.
