We were looking for an area rug that would add color to our sitting room but also have a dark background to withstand walk thru traffic. This rug is perfect and good quality. We'd recommend this for a modern, farmhouse or country style home.

This rug is beautiful online and in person, but the reason I don't recommend it is the construction. The gorgeous colors in this rug are provided by ribbons or fabric (not sure what to call them), but in our household that wouldn't work at all. I was purchasing a rug to be functional and this one is more decorative.

I love this rug! It looks great in my living room and my home office! It gives the whole room color and brightness.

The colors in this carpet are true to what you see online and very attractive. I previously ordered the large area carpet for under the dining room table and decided to extend the match to the entry door area. I do wish it was a bit larger ( maybe 12" longer and 12" wider). The background color being Brown, I have a dog with white hair ( I knew this before ordering) and it does cling to the carpet :(

The product lives up to its advertisement. The quality and presentation fits perfectly with what we had in mind when we sought to purchase a carpet. The price certainly meets the quality of the product and we are totally satisfied with our purchase.

This is one of the most beautiful rugs I've ever seen. I bought it in Orange and had it professionally framed, but have a larger size in green in my bedroom. Yes, it does lose ribbons, but if you vacuum only on the bare floor setting you'll be okay, or just sweep with a broom. Love it!!!!

This is a pretty throw rug and really fits our decor, but I fear that the daily shedding of the silver bits will render it to be a black-only rug within a couple of years. I don't know if the "in between" look, i.e. only a few silver bits left, will make us have to throw it out or not. Otherwise, we really like the rug. Of course, don't buy black if you don't want to see dog hair or anything on it. It takes frequent vacuuming ... weekly at minimum for our house.

Much prettier than I imagined. I'm highly pleased with the look, the weight and the quality.

Love rug. Beautiful look however,design is not secured, therefore it comes out when I vacuum and my cats love to pull small strips out and play with them. This rug design is made with small strips of ??? I'm keeping it as I hope design will last until I'm tired of it. Martha Humphrey

We bought this rug and after the first run with the vacuum the sunbursts shred awful. It looks absolutely horrendous. This rug is much too expensive to just fall apart. If you have animals that shed and you have to vacuum your home do not purchase this rug. I am so disappointed and extremely upset with myself for not taking it right back to home depot the day this happened, my fault.

Everyday a "shag" comes out of the rug. If it continues to do this, the entire rug will be "BALD, is this normal???? Will it stop shedding as it gets older?? i really love the rug and for the most part it is well made but the star bursts are coming out so i don't know how long there will actually be patterns in the rug. otherwise the rug is thick and seems to be good quality. rated it low because of the issues with the star burst pieces coming out of the rug.

We get a lot of compliments on our new rug. The only downfall is some of the ribbons fall out of it, but we do have it in a high traffic area.

Wife loved the pattern and colors matched another rug in the room. so we ordered it online. Because this is a somewhat "fragile" pattern (the streamers can be pulled out by heavy vacuum or heavy walking), use this rug in a non-traffic area or light traffic area. Very decorative to look at!

I purchased this rug for our master bedroom. I wanted something with a lot of style to set off the soft gray walls. A day or two after ordering I read the reviews about shedding and figured I would be returning it. I received the rug nicely packaged and on time. It was better than expected and after 1 month not one thread has comes out. I guess they fixed the problem I love it!

The area rug is just what I wanted and needed to make my entryway pop. The colors are soooo earthy. I could not be more pleased

The rug itself is thick and tightly woven. However the cloth strings woven in to create the vibrant pattern on the rug pull right out. I find dozens of them on the floor everyday. Even on the highest nap setting on my vacuum the strings still come right out. I have only had the rug for about a month and at this rate once all the strings pull out, I will be left with nothing more than a brown rug. I would not recommend the purchase of this rug to anyone, in fact I think I should get a full refund for such a defective product. it is very pretty and striking, but poorly made, very disappointed of the poor quality

Its very pretty but it needs to be in an area that is not walked on at all. Its sheds very bad. I have it in a low traffic area and it still sheds.

I love this rug, it is not made for wear and tear though as the decors easily come lose and out - If you don't put anything on it - it will work for you. It does not shed, just beautiful! glad I got it.

The rug does not hold up well in high traffic or where you put your feet down by the chair. It balls up and you need to vaccum often. Also, the design "strings" come out very easily. Not sure what kind of pattern I will have left if this continues.
