Hello, Thank you for your review. Generally new rugs emit an odor. A rug that is made from polypropylene (olefin) may have some off gassing. It’s not toxic but if you are of concern (all synthetic material will have some smell) this odor is harmless, but airing out the rug in a well ventilated area generally solves the problem.

Beautiful colors but every time its vacuumed I get a lot of shedding. My vacuum is full of rug fibers. And the star burst pattern keeps coming off but I kept the rug hopefully it will stop shedding but not very happy with this rug. would not recommend to anyone

Hello - Thank you for your review. Shedding is common in all Wool Rugs. What happens is there is loose wool and this will fall out. The most shedding will occur in the first few months. Over time, this will be less and less but it will still continue. This is also mentioned on the back label of your rug

I love these rugs. I already had them in my bedroom and then bought 2 more for my living room and dining room. They look beautiful and are so reasonably priced for wool rugs. I won't buy anything bu wool rugs from now on.

I like the look. It looks just like in the picture. Unfortunately 6x6 was too small for my space. It was soft, my daughter didn’t like the feeling of the bursts, but I thought they were fine. Not twiney, but not soft either. We would have kept it had it filled the space better.

The rug is beautiful. However, it is still shedding...
The rug is beautiful. However, it is still shedding the woven fringes that make up the star burst when using a light sweeper to vacuum. Also the brown base of the rug is shedding. Not sure if that is normal for new rugs.

I loved this rug. I hate that the negative reviews I read are true. It is wool - sheds non-stop. Have 2 of them & must vacuum them every other day and dust mop wood floors as often. The vacuum canister is full of wool-FULL-each time. The longer strands in design pull out-am picking them up daily.

My son bought a similar rug a few years ago and I loved it so when I saw this one I knew it would be perfect for my entry way. I have read reviews to be careful when vacuuming so I will take extra care. But the colors are very vivid and it looks really good in my entry way, really makes a statement.
