This works great . I have one at all of my sinks and showers.

Just recently installed two of these leak detectors, look to be well made for the cost, haven’t had a leak and hope they work when actually needed

This product saved me a lot of money when I recently had a water leak I am so glad that I purchased it.

It did work for me. The alarm is so fricken loud and can be adjustable to lower level. It used AAA battery type. Its cord is too short. Overall it is good for the price of $9 apiece.

Very loud, it will probably be just fine. But one of the reasons I bought it was that it was magnetic. Would not stick on the freezer's side, so I tested it by trying to get it to stick on a known ferrous material, and it would not stick. I can only assume it does not have the integrated magnet described on the HD site and it the enclosed literature. I just used included double-sided tape.

Super loud, extremely easy to install.

This alarm did not work. It is not sensitive enough to detect water.

Seems very sensitive so should detect a leak. Very loud too.

It's inexpensive and works. But the sensor's wire length, and about 9", is much too short, and that's the reason of only a "fair" rating.

After my utility sink backed up one day, I thought it was a fluke and didn't purchase an alarm. Now, a year later, it happened again and I said enough is enough and I purchased this alarm. I have mine set to high and it is so loud that you can hear this upstairs and clear across to the other side of the house. A great product for the price!!!

Works well, except that the battery cover comes off on its own frequently and very easily, plus it comes with double-sided adhesive which is very poor quality. The detector is constantly falling off any surface when using the provided double-sided adhesive. I've made my own yankee-design modifications by applying scotch tape over all of the battery covers and then using commercial staples to hold the sensors in place when attached to wood surfaces such as the sides of cabinets. One would think that the manufacturer would take a bit more pride in their product. These are very easy fixes for them to address in their design. They would otherwise have a very good product at a great price. I have 7 of these throughout my home.

Just what I was looking for. When tested to see if it worked - it did. Too bad I had to wait so long for it to delivered to my store. Something like this should have been in stock.

Weds a better way to adhere to pipes under the kitchen sink, which is where you want the sensor.

Easy to install. Was actually looking for the kind that senses high pitched sound within pipes rather than this unit that requires contact with liquid water to activate. Set er up in the water heater closet that is rarely accessed by the residents. Like Paul Rogers sang " fire and water musta made you their daughter ". Know acception . Peace...

I bought three of these, one each for the sump pump basin, water heater and dish washer. Low volume setting is quite loud. High volume setting will wake the dead.

I bought four. unpacked and tried two of them, none worked. Yes, I put batteries in, and shorted the leads, nothing happened.
