What's on the cap is one thing, but once you...
What's on the cap is one thing, but once you shake it up and spray it, forget it. Paint can got clogged three times while spraying and the surface painted did NOT look or feel like what's should be sandy surface.

Oh no, this is not what we like to hear! Rust-Oleum Stops Rust MultiColor Textured Spray Paint contains a lot of textured pigment, for that reason is it important to shake the can vigorously for at least one minute once the mixing ball begins to rattle. During the painting process is it just as important to shake vigorously to ensure the textured pigment remains blended in the can, this allows for proper spray and will result in a beautiful textured surface.

Came out nicely the first time I used it, though...
Came out nicely the first time I used it, though it takes a minute of practice compared with regular spray paint. The second time I tried to use it (the next day), despite having cleaned the nozzle as best I could, the mixture came out in a stream rather than a spray.

Thank you for your feedback! To ensure the best coverage with Rust-Oleum Stops Rust MultiColor Textured Spray, we recommend applying over a similar color base coat. Applying several light coats will also provide for a better finish than trying to achieve full coverage with one coat.

Did not spray evenly and would stop spraying no matter how long I shook the can. Only got about a third of the paint out of the can and would not spray anymore at all. Waste of money!!

Coverage seemed very poor and flow control, present on most spray rustolium products I’ve used, was non existent. The spray was full on or off. These resulted in several blobs and drips on my chair and a single can was not enough to cover one small chair.

I shock the can thoroughly before use and it sprayed for maybe 15 seconds and stopped.

This paint clogged constantly. Even with shaking for thirty to sixty seconds, I could spray one or two sprays, then it would clog again. Only then, it wouldn’t unclog. The concept is nice and the finish is great. But the application is horrible.

Uh-oh, that is odd. Try spraying the can of Rust-Oleum Stops Rust MultiColor Textured Spray upside down for a few seconds. If that doesn't work, wiping the nozzle with mineral spirits should clear it out. It is also very important to vigorously shake the can for 1 minute beforehand as well as during application to ensure any settled pigment is dispersed. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 5

I was very dissatisfied with the spray paint. Ive used spray paints before with very little problem. The cans that I was able to empty did not cover enough. I needed over 3 cans to cover one patio chair. While trying to spray a patio table, the nozzle on the cans would clog and I had to discard the product. The textured type of paint clogs the nozzle quickly. Thankfully I was able to return the unused cans.
