This is another great product from Rustoleum. It covers well, dries quickly, and the color and finish are really nice - I used mine to restore a patio table set. However .... when you press to spray, it's like the can is nuclear powered! It BLASTS the paint out!!! I thought it was just one faulty can but it was all of them! Maybe they have to use a lot of pressure to get the little granules out? This means that it is very difficult to control excess paint from pooling up. Even worse, the can was completely out in about 2 minutes!!!!! It took me 3 cans to do one layer on one small patio table that is mostly space and the backs of 2 chairs .... I thought I was going to have leftovers after doing TWO layers with FOUR chairs!!! It's a very difficult color to find in stock anywhere so plan ahead if you want to use this. I think it's well worth the while but be prepared. I'm now stuck driving all over the city trying to find another supply of the stuff - Home Depot is going to take 10+ days to get it shipped to their store!

The sea green color was what I wanted, but had to buy six cans in a pack to get it. I wondered what I was going to do with the extra cans since I thought I only needed two to paint my garden bench. It was painted rustoleum metallic brown and it took 5 cans to cover it. If you use this paint on anything dark in color it may be worth it to spray it first with an appropriate primer. Overall the final effect is well worth the price.

Painted patio table, came out very well color and texture was good. Almost like a powder coated finish. Cons: Paint clumps up if sprayed too close. Spray can finishes very quickly. Bought 3 cans at first had to go back and buy another 3. Overall Patio table came out good.

As many others have said, this product does not cover. I did a table frame and 4 chairs and it took 14 cans! If my wife wasnt against black i would have quit using this junk. I have used rustoleum products my whole life so didnt bother with reviews, but i wish i would have. I'd like my money back for 10 of the 14 cans.

I like the finish it provides. The coverage sucks.

Painted our patio furniture with this paint. Sprayed a base coat of regular brown first as recommended. Then spayed this on top.The furniture came out looking great.....no complaints. I would recommend the attachment handle that fits over the cans if you are going to paint a big project.

The grit/sand consumes a good portion of the contents and must be shaken well to get decent coverage and even so the paint will drip. The combination of sand and paint reduces the amount of coverage, so it costs more to cover an equal amount of square footage. Not all cans produced the same results. Having said that we liked the finished look and feel on the patio furniture. I would recommend first covering the surface with a regular base paint, similar colored can(s) of paint before applying any textured paint. You will have better and faster results.

great paint, very nice textured finish

The product is great for the first half of the can. Then the second half, the nozzle becomes hard to press down and paint squirts out in a liquid stream instead of a spray mist. This has happened in 3 of the last 8 cans I’ve purchased. Not sure why.

The color and texture were exactly as described. Easy to use and nice results.

wanted to use on a refurbishment project on my pair of bird feeders. effect was OK but took 3 to 4 coats to get there.

The paint runs down, no matter how you do it.

Paint did not look anything like the color on the cap. The paint did not flow properly despite it and the object being painted being the proper temperature. It was not sticking well to the primed surface. This resulted in runs and uneven surface finish. I do not recommend this paint.

Bought this to cover repairs to an XMAS statue. The grit blended in with the texture in the plaster tohide the repair very well.

Paint was very blochy and did not dry properly. I ended up just scraping it off with a razor blade and used something else.

Easy to use and looks amazing! I highly recommend this product.

Provides a rough, almost 3 dimensional finish. Used it make a metal door track blend in with stained wood trim. Looks great

Sprays on more like adhesive than paint so looks really weird at first and worried me. Once it dries the finish is like that cap and looks good.

Smell was intense. Didn’t cover 2’x2’ area of cement. Supposed to be textured but not. Won’t buy another.

I used this paint over a similar colored background. The coverage was minimal. After 3 cans of this paint, the chair was only 75% painted and the base coat was still visible. It seemed like the cans were only partially filled with a clear paint that had sand like texture. Rust-oleum has always been excellent but not this paint!

Excellent textured paint for many types of surfaces. Neutral color.
