I chose this product for use on wrought iron deck railing . After removing rust and using a coat of primer, this product adheres nicely. I hope it will have a long lifespan, but it looks great now!

Appliance epoxy spray paint
Ok so here is what I’ve learned the hard way First thing is Sand surface Prime with Automotive Gray primer , use 320 wet/dray sand paper only ! But use it Dry Only ,also sand primer with same paper Just with Light Pressure ,(trust me ) than wipe down dust with paper towel ,, than paint Do Area of about 1-2 Foot square at a time then move on //// this worked for me after many attempts So Best Of Luck oh wait 1 week to sand out any blemishes but you can reapply One Time Only at 30 min

Leave a blotchy finish
No matter what we do it has a blotchy finish. Tried to get some in quarts to roll on but not available. Not at all happy with the finish. And the over spray is terrible, worse than with a spray gun.

Oh no, that’s not what we expect to hear, Sandra. When applying Rust-Oleum Specialty Appliance Epoxy Spray, it’s important to shake the can for at least a minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle as well as throughout application to ensure that the pigment is dispersed evenly. Hold the can upright 12-16" from the surface and spray in a steady back and forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Apply several light coats a few minutes apart. Doing this will result in an even, smooth finish.
We also recommend avoiding spraying this product in very windy or dusty conditions, as well as in direct sunlight. Cover the surrounding area to protect from overspray as it can carry a significant distance. Applies paint
This paint splatters a lot could not use it. I have to go buy something else. Don’t waste your money like I did.

I've been very happy with this paint in the past...
I've been very happy with this paint in the past but something has changed and I don't recommended it anymore. Two problems: 1) nozzle blew little bubbles that created circles on the dried surface. 2) three lither coats over 48 hours. The surface isn't hard 24 hours later.

Let's see what we can figure out. For best results using Rust-Oleum Specialty Appliance Epoxy Spray Paint, shake the can vigorously for one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle, and frequently during use, this ensures excellent spray. Apply several light coats a few minutes apart, recoat within 30 minutes or after 1 week.

I am returning this paint. It had contaminants in it...
I am returning this paint. It had contaminants in it and my project was ruined. The project will need to be stripped and I must begin again. Very disappointing. The spray was interrupted repeatedly by a spitting action of something that caused gross irregularities in the finish.

Let's talk about this! Certainly, it is important to thoroughly shake Rust-Oleum Specialty Appliance Epoxy Spray Paint prior to use, and occasionally during use as well. The can should be shaken for no less than one minute after the mixing ball in the can begins to rattle. This ensures that the product is mixed well, and prevents larger particles from being sprayed through the nozzle.
You also want to make sure the finger that presses down on the nozzle stays clean and free of any paint. It is important to have your index finger centered on the nozzle itself. If your finger is too forward, it can cause some blocking of the spray mist as it comes out of the can, which can cause sputtering or larger drops to be sprayed on the surface. It is also essential that the nozzle is kept clean. Mineral spirits can be used to help clean the nozzle.
