This is a completely useless devise for a basement installation. I have returned it to the store.

Simple, Sturdy and Easy Connect. Serves its purpose well.

This made properly venting my new Tankless Gas Water Heater a cinch using the single existing roof vent! Made the installation go much faster and easier.

Needed adapter to work. Much easier to buy pvc get it done

This product would have gotten 5 stars if it had a angled piece at the top of it to keep rain and other debris form entering it and possibly damaging the unit it's attached to

Fantastic system

saved on putting another hole through the house. Pleasant looking from the outside.

I like it, however it had a piece broken on the top and needed to return it. The tricky part will be to add a chimney cover to prevent the rain to go through

It worked, but there were some negatives: 1. It arrived with a broken fin on the intake shield, as many other mentioned. However only 1 broken one still allows it to seat well. It is weird that all of these arrive broken. Maybe the guys in the warehouse are staging a Devo revival during break time. 2. It is very difficult to glue the intake and exhaust pipes in in parallel which you need to do where they connect to the tankless water heater. I mounted the water heater near the ceiling as it had to go over and around a furnace and had to glue these in while up on a ladder, with no way to get a second person in the space to assist. 3. It came with a 90* elbow that does not fit anywhere. I thought it was for use as a downturn on the exhaust port (which is the part that comes out the center) but it is too big for the end of the shield. I am not objecting to extra parts being included but it worries me I am missing something on the outside of the house. The reasons I checked the box saying I would recommend it are: 1. It gives a cleaner appearance on the side of the house than having 2 separate pieces is PVC sticking out. 2. It does work as designed

Worked well, vent screen that came with the water heater would not fit this vent, had to cut the hub of a 3" fitting.

Hep make install of tankless water heater simple and easy.

Printed instructions are good. Important to install with a 1/4" per ft rise to horizontal exterior. Seal exterior. Only negative is that the pvc termination kit pipe is thin wall and Home Depot does not carry a thin wall 45 for the exterior exhaust - nor would the Rheem factory rep tell me "as a home owner" where I could locate a retail thin wall pvc extension.

Works great used it to vent a tankless water heater was able to use the same vent hole threw the roof as the old tank style water heater just have to change the roof flashing from 3 inch to four way convenient

The concentric piping itself seems like its good quality. I had to use a 45 elbow off to the side to bring the intake back vertical to reach over to my water heater. The real problem was that even under moderate load the exhaust port was not sufficiently separated from the intake to avoid getting error 13 (insufficient combustion air.) I had to get an 18" piece of PVC to extend the exhaust. After that, no more error 13. The supplied 90 elbow is 3"OD so required a coupler to attach the 3" PVC. It was also very loose on the exhaust cone. It did save space and allowed me to use a bay that was partially obstructed by a waste line but I was disappointed that is still needed modification to make our Rheem 9.0gpm heater work correctly.

Worked well. My only suggestion is the 90 degree angle that was included would be better if it was a 45 degree angle. The also 90 degree angle requires a coupler to connect to a schedule 40 pipe. If you buy this make sure the pipes are well connected before gluing. If you don't the exhaust and intake air can mix.

Difficult to use with regular 3"PVC. Had to offset to get proper connections to roof exit. Additionally, would like to add "T" on top to keep rain from coming straight down pipe, but, again, regular PVC will not work. Not too happy with the product.

Easy to install and readable instructions. Is a bit noisey with 5ton unit. I'd recommend installing on side of roof away from areas of traffic or recreation.

Is not needed unless vent is through roof of home, older home so pre existing hole to vent is much smaller

This item saves time and space. Verey easy to instal.

The termination kit worked out just fine.

Product works as excpected but is pricey because the majority it is pvc pipe. In my case it became clear to me that running two seperate pipes wouldve been much easier(and cheaper). Space was tight and on a horizontal run intake leg needed to be in an upward position. This complicated matters far beyond just running two lines. Product does work as intended though

Nice product, came in good time and in good shape. Wish it came with the installation bracket/clamp. Other than that the install was a snap and works perfectly.

Installed this vent with a new directvent water heater, well made easy to install. In place for a few years and no problems.

This is a concentric vent for two 3 inch connections. It is not vendor specific. You will need to use your heat units documentation to determine minimum run lengths. Using a 3" vent kit for a smaller unit or very close to your house is not good. Bigger may not be better.

I recommend this product ONLY because you need it for install but you STILL have to get PVC fittings for a simple install

Great product , however I ended up going with a similar term kit also provided by Home Depot.Kit was returned with ease and credited to my account in a timely manner.
