Was presently surprised by the quality of this corner fireplace. Puts out just enough heat to help with one of our rooms that has a vaulted ceiling and tend to be on the cold side. Controls are easy to use and the timer is a plus. The flames add a cool ambiance in the room. Was on the expensive side but reasonable compare with what’s out there. Would definitely recommend this electric fireplace.

Stopped working after a year

This fireplace stopped working exactly a year after I got it from HD when the warranty ended. Every time I turn it on it shuts off and beeps several times. I thought it was a malfunctioning safety precaution so I looked in the user guide and there is nothing for troubleshooting. I have to unplug the device to reset it and then once the device makes a clicking noise, I’m able to turn it on and it works. I was hoping for $700 it would work properly for longer than a year. Don’t waste your money.
