Product does not work exactly as described. The drops of rain that go through the rainhandler are still larger then the natural rain drops but smaller then what comes off the roof with no gutters. What it does do is to move the line of rain drops from falling directly under the house over hang (with no gutters) further away from the house, which will still scribes a line into the ground below is a plus. In my case it is a crusher run driveway. It does allow you to stand in front of the basement entrance door without getting direct hits on the head with large drops coming off of the roof which is two stories high at this point. As mentioned earlier the rainhandler does not work as good as I would like it to. My recommendation is a yes/no. We will see how it works once it starts to snow to see if there is any ice build up. The reason regular gutters are not being used is because of ice build up in the winter months.

Easy To Install And They Work!
The title says it all. I was able to install over 150 feet in one afternoon. Every nuance of the installation was covered in the instructions. I was unable to complete the installation due to time, leaving sections less than five feet to see install. My wife graded the areas under the drip lines of the house. It rained the next day and where was a Raindiverter installed, there was no drip line on the ground. However, new drip lines appeared where I had not installed the product. And the total cost was 1/3 of the estimates for traditional gutters!

Not a Gutter.
When its listed as a gutter I expected it to act like a gutter and carry rainwater away from the roof. This product just lets runoff fall to the ground. Poor description and poor pictures on HD web site.

Please See restrictions
These are recommended ,but with potential Big drawbacks. Use only if you have a Big overhang 2 ft or more. I put these on now I have tons of water in my basement, before, nine Ihave a short one ft overhang,
Also in front you must get diverters for melting ice all over the stairs then still night a sheet of ice.

A "gutter" you can love
I've been using this product for about 15 years. Easy to install, and you hardly see them. Absolutely no cleaning required, and I have a lot of leaves and pine needles. They reasonably disperse the water over my flower beds, and completely eliminate a drip line and splash-back onto the house. If you have basement water problems they are probably not for you, but otherwise they are a great maintenance-free product. If you hate gutters like I do you'll love these.

Excellent alternative to traditional gutters
I was so happy to find these gutters. Living in Texas with the drought and water restrictions, I wanted some way to harness what little rain we get for use in watering my flowerbeds. It seems so useless to let the rainwater run off my house and out of a downspout. Now I can use the runoff efficiently with no damage to my foundation or the plants in the beds. The gutters are extremely easy to install and you can barely even see them once they are up. And the cost was comparable to traditional gutters. My only problem is we haven't had any rain since installing them so I don't know if I need the extended drip edge (which I purchased but have not installed yet). But when running a water hose over the roof, it appears that they are going to work great! I'm sure I will be recommending them to everyone I know!

satisfied for more than 10 years
bought my first rainhandlers more than 10 years ago. have added more as my gutters wore out. Rainhandlers do the same job but it is great not to ever clean them and take advantage of the water saving when it rains. No need to bend the slats if you follow install instructions

I think it works
It was cheap and easy to install. I'm not sure if it disperses rain as is described but it has to be better than nothing.

Easy to install but doesn't deflect the water as discribed
Easy and quick to install but the deflection of the rain water is minimal. I put them on a on story house and the roof water moved out away from the house another 1 foot-Maybe. Not nearly enough.

Not satisfied
Not happy at all...
The bracket that holds the Rainhandler do not fit just right. It is too tight and if I try to force it, it will bend the fins. I would like to return it and I want my money back.
