Second one I have purchased for 2 different homes. Easiest to program and works great.

Easy to install and programming was a breeze

I purchased this for my neighbor, as she is moving and the power supply to her Rain Bird ESP-Me enhanced modular controller is unavailable. Although it was easy to install, it feels cheap. Yes, it works and since she's moving, the new owners can deal with it. Personally, I wouldn't use one of these in my own home simply because it doesn't seem to be of very high quality and programming it isn't as intuitive as the previous Rain Bird ESP-Me controller.

It needs to have a battery backup to get hire marks.

I just installed and started to use. It took me 5 tries to set it up and get it working! Not exactly easy. Instructions were not user friendly.

The Rain Bird 4 Station watering clock, like the bigger 6 Station, is easy to install, set up, and a breeze to program. I'm so glad, we have both now. It really could not be simpler! You will not be disappointed! Our frustrations with the other brand are finally over!

Easy to install and program.

Bought this to replace a 20+ year old RainBird control unit that finally bit the dust. I couldn't have spent more than an hour installing it, and that includes time to remove the old unit and physically mount the new unit with screw anchors. The control panel is intuitive, and I don't think I even looked at the instructions to complete the programming. It doesn't have wireless smart phone control but I wasn't interested in that anyway. Folks, if I can do it, anyone can do it. Good luck.

returned. did not fit into space for mounting

It did not work ad it is very difficult to connect the wires to the timer. The wires will not lock in and so no connection. I went and purchased another where u can screw the wires in making a good connection.

Very simple to program. Can set zones to water differently on each day. I am hoping this unit has the longevity of the 30 year old control it replaced.

An excellent timer to replace a 25+ year old Rain Bird timer which died. It provides more capabilities than my old one, but is not as simple to use, probably due to the added capabilities. One thing I wish had been added was a light for the screen.

I returned because the installation man had his own Rain Bird. It’s a simpler version.
