The unit is very compact, much smaller than the old craftsman I had. More features too! Two speed high and low plus reversible. Has a 3/8 chuck which seems normal for that type drill. However I would like to have a 1/2 chuck on it. The unit preforms very well. Pleased with the performance and would absolutely recommend it.

30 Seconds
Ran for 30 seconds and then it turned off then on for 2 seconds and stops another 2 seconds. Tried two others and no change. I packed it back in the back I returned the 18v string trimmer too. I am done with Ridgid outdoor tools.

Very pleased with the design and feel of this right angle drill, especially when working in a confinement of cabinetry. The elongated trigger allows for gripping the drill at positions along the body that provide the best leverage for the task. I'm glad I went with the RIDGID 18v ecosystem a few years ago. I've yet to be disappointed with any of the tools I've purchased.

Love this little angled drill! Its my most favorite drill now. Lightweight, well balanced, and fits in places my standard and impact drills don't.

Poor design
The battery prevents drilling a straight hole on a large flat surface. The battery makes contact with the surface while the chuck is still over 2 inches from the surface. Totally dissatisfied, returned for a refund. i did not notice this shortcoming until I installed the battery.

I’ve had several right angle drills over the years and I have to say this one is by far the best.
It seems to go where you would think not possible.
It’s light and quiet powerful.
Very happy with my purchase.
