This is one of the better purchases I have recently made. I use the hose feature to fill my watering can and I love it. I am thinking about purchaseing another one or two for my other downspouts.

Easy to install, looks much nicer than most barrels and saves lots of water. Liked it so much we bought a second one!

Just got our first sizeable rainfall and the barrel is leaking big time out of two holes half way up under the “metal” strap. Don’t know what I am going to do - to have to get the barrel separated from the down spout and emptied is a ridiculous proposition. Any solutions Home Depot?

Product is fine, but it is NOT 50 gallons. It's about 30-35 gallons. Shop accordingly.

I like how it is durable and you can plant a flower in it And it is so pretty.

Very cheap looking. Hopefully fulfills it's purpose regardless of the cheap appearance.

I purchased this April 2018 and a pinhole leak sprung within a month. Given it would be a hassle to return, I emptied the barrel below the link line and patched it with some sealent, which fixed that leak—now another leak has sprung lower down. Other than not being able to hold water, it looks nice and was fairly easy to install.

I JUST LOVE IT!!! I wanted one for years and its perfect, sits right against house so its out of the way, its stylish looking. It was a bit of a pain to finally get level but we got it, and thinking of getting another

Returned to store. Didn’t have a good water collection system.

This item was exactly as advertised and was easy to install. The base that was offered as a pair did not work however. But we installed without the base and it works great. In addition the store took the base back no questions asked.

Looks good. Nice having the planter with the barrel. Would like it to divert more water from the downspout. Overall would definitely recommend.

Was difficult aligning to my downspout. Old house. Then I couldn't find 3/ 4 drill bit. Had to relevel 3 times. Hope this holds tonight's rain

Pressure is decent through the 4 foot hose but much more than that the hose needs to stay close to the ground for any significant pressure. Overall very pleased and easy to install. Would definitely recommend.

Seems ok, but too large for my space.

Works great. Easy to install. The back bowed out a little which was strange.

i don’t think this 50 gallons

This is a very nice item. The flat back lets it fit right against the wall and the top shelf is an added bonus. I put some flowers right in there still in their pots and the drain hole keeps everything pretty neat. The installation can be a little tricky. You will need tools and you must follow the instructions to get it to work right.The hose on the bottom has a stop-nozzle on the end so you must make sure it is closed or you will have water everywhere. Although it is plastic/vinyl it is pretty substantial and looks good. I have only had it for 2 weeks but there have been several heavy rains storms and everything seems to be working fine.

Barrel is good, diverter is little tricky to install and from my point of view does not collect as much water as was expecting, we had 2 storms and still 3/4 full, i think there is room to improve the design.

The barrel was easy to install and it is very unobtrusive against our brick house.It was exactly what I was looking for and works well.

We ordered two barrels. We like the look, and have them planted. We didn’t need the diverter kit, but we needed the fitting to turn the water on and off, because we’ll need to drain them over the winter. One of arrived with a dent and is missing the fitting to turn the water on and off. I improvised

Installation was easy but you do need to make sure hose from diverter to barrel is level. If it isn't it will not fill up. Using natural resources is a money saver. It meets all expectations.

Package delivered damaged, small dent in round side of barrel. Unfortunately, I was not at home at time of delivery, so could not refuse. Also, need NOW, so no time to take back and re-order. Otherwise, what I expected.

The barrel is great. The stand we ordered with it not so much. The barrel does not fit on the stand that the website recommended.

Not sure if the product is defective or if this is how they are supposed to look. but we just recently purchased 2 50 gal barrels, after the first good rain the back of the barrels are bulging out, we are afraid that could bust. At this point I would not recommend them.

After a rain with the barrel full I was disappointed to discover that the water from the barrel would not fill my soaker hose.
