I have had this about a month and it does a good job removing humidity from my basement. Pretty quiet running, easy to use a dump the pan. If you have a large a very damp basement, I would suggest a larger unit capable of greater volume. This is great for my needs though, easily controls humidity downstairs. A good value for the money and I am happy with the performance.

Nice unit. But was missing two small screws. Called company to get them. Gave me the run around to the point I gave up. 6 cent screws and it was up to me to send an email with pictures. Really???

Quiet compared to the last one I owned Works great

Had two different very good brands of dehumidifier in my house already, but needed a third for this particularly humid Missouri summer. I still have to empty each one twice a day, but at least I finally can keep the humidity inside the house to a comfortable 35% or so. This is also quieter than one of my 30 pint dehumidifiers, but none of them are truly quiet. As long as they keep working, I can live with a little background noise. This unit is also easier to empty than either of my other two dehumidifiers.

The price was lower than a lot of competitors. I like RCA brand products and this was the ideal dehumidifier for my basement. I made a very good choice.
