The light is made of light weight plastic and not something that I think would be significant or stand up in a hurricane. I think most outdoor lights are made of cast Al. or sttronger material

Much too small for almost any use! The right size for a doll house. Not worth the time and effort to install it.

I ended up returning this product--not because the product was faulty, but because I discovered that a previously purchased lantern worked quite nicely--and looked better. This one appeared to made of a plastic rather than metal. There was nothing wrong with it, but it looked cheap compared to a metal one I had purchased previously. I appreciated Home Depot's return policy that allowed me this option.

I was replacing old ones that stopped working, and these lights look much better than the old ones. Installation was easy.

This product came with only one single very short screw to attach to the light post. We had to find longer screws & drill a second, opposite hole into the post to secure it. It is difficult to slide the clear plastic sides into the slots and even more difficult to figure out the trick to securing the top to close. We kept the product because there is nothing else anywhere that came close to meeting our needs. It replaced a larger topper that had a hurricane lamp inside over the bulb and I really miss that. It was disappointing that there was so little to choose from in this style.

This item was purchased to replace what a contractor broke while working in my yard. The replacement has clear lenses instead of the pebbled finish ones that the broken unit had, and seems to work better. Assembly was a snap, and installation was just as easy. Thank you for carrying a style that I was afraid was not made anymore. The shipping was quick and very affordable.

My stepdad who is 92 years old needed a new replacement for his outside light. The product I ordered for him was great! He was able to install it himself and the finished results were exactly what he wanted. Thank you for making this possible!

Overall happy with the fixture, easy to install and worth the price. Nothing fancy or expensive. Plastic fixture, hope the color won't fade in the sun.

The fixture seems to be well made and looks good on our lamp post. It is not fancy but for the money you can't beat it. It is entirely plastic but should not rust or corrode like the fixture it replaced.

This Lamp Post Light is weather resistent, w/clear acrylic windows and non-metallic so it won't rust! It was easy to install. I got a great price online.

It turned out to be a very small lantern. I purchased it to replace an old one which was twice it's size. I didn't realize this one was so tiny until after it was installed.

There is no mention in the instructions about getting the hinge pins into the top. It was extremely hard to squeeze the lamp fixture until the hinge pins popped into the top.

Easy to install. Needs longer screws to fasten to pole. For a inexpensive coach lamp, this is a good value.
