These molded rails were exactly what we needed to finish our project if you want something more fancy than a flat 2x4. The only issue we had was that not all 2x4s are created equal so the channel cut into these railings were too snug and we had to router them out a bit to fit on the rails. Small price to pay for the payoff though as these look stunning on our railing and were far easier than creating the molded pieces ourselves.

Not warped, clear of knots, with a single channel that easily fits the edge of a standard 2x6 (1.5x5.5). The store had 23 in stock and had very little difficulty in finding six that were in pristine condition. Would highly recommend.

This is a nice looking rail cap. It has a large enough channel to accept 1 1/2” side of 2 x4. If you need longer than 6’ they must be scarfed together. These rails are not clear. Some have large knots. Be prepared to do some picking.

Look nice when deck was completed. A few rails had quality issues, but was able to use most of it when cutting to size.

Replacing 20 plus top rails. Product is good and fairly priced but you need to look at each piece carefully to make sure it's straight with minimal flaws. Product gets picked over and the rejected tend to stay around for a while. Takes paint well but recommend priming anyway.

Really? Is the moulder using an old worn out bit? Cant read a tape measure? I do not have a router. Going to finish my project without them and take the 3 I did not cut back for refund

Excellent choice for outdoor handrails.

I could not again purchase this handrail at any local Home Depot. I needed 6 more for use on elevated hunting blinds with stairs. The Home Depot in Sebring, FL did still have 15+ but NONE of them were anywhere near acceptable in quality. So, I placed an online order for the 6 I needed. Five out of the 6 I received where acceptable but the 6th had a big jagged knot on the upper surface over which a person using the handrail would have their hand pass over. In the recent past I have had a need for 12, 6 foot handrails (I was able to find 6 usable handrails at the Sebring Home Depot). A good finding was that the handrails most recently purchased had a 1.5" grove on the underside of the rail allowing a 2 X 4" uprights to be used to support the rails without modification (the groove in the first 6 had to be enlarged). Because of this my overall rating is only 2 Stars But, these handrails were the only ones I could find that were pressure treated for exposed use at a reasonable price (I had to join 2, 6 foot handrails together with a steel plate to get the 12 foot length I needed).

Product is very nice when complete and well worth the work for such a Great look. Only had the porch done a couple days and have received so many compliments. Even though it's not really done, missing post caps and stair railings. Still Looks Great.

Balusters do not fit properly into the square holes! Their advice is to allow the balusters to dry longer so they shrink and will fit better. IF YOU HAVE STAIRS, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!! They have no way to have the rails go down a staircase!! Once you cut the baluster the end is a rectangle due to the angle of the stairs. They don't offer a bottom rail without the square holes cut in them. What seems like a way to make the build easier turns it into a nightmare!! Unless you have a way to make your own molded sides DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! Written by 35 year contractor! Recommend customer use a different product if they have stairs!!!

These hand rails worked very nicely on this deck repair. The only wish is that we could have ordered 8 foot sections so we didn't have to replant the bottom posts closer

Sorry, but these rails were warped and twisted to the point where some could not even be used.

Two of the pieces were good, but the other two were really knotty. I’ll have to fill the knots with epoxy to make them usable. My husband wanted to send them back but we needed the two pieces hat were good right away.
