Recently purchased to replace broken slider lock. Product fit and finish was acceptable. The lock lever did feel flimsy and surely wont last if used heavily. I opted not to use the key way for this install.

Good product. Easy to install

It appeared to be as advertised. Unfortunately for me the holes didn't line up with the old one. But a friend had just moved into a condo with a sliding door, so I gave to him to try.

The design of the lock is very poor and outdate. I have to cut the door in order to make the tongue lock in.

The key is difficult to get to function and the fit is hard.

I bought this lock to replace a failing lock in a Croft door. This was the only lock that claimed to fit doors less than an inch thick. What a load of donkey doo! The only reason this lock fits thinner doors is that they include a cheap plastic spacer. The space will only fit on the outside of the door and is longer on one end than the other. It looks goofy and will wear out instantly in the Arizona sun! I tried to give this lock a chance anyway, had it on my door for 2 days and had more problems trying to latch it than the failing lock that I already own! Don't buy this lock! Find a metal spacer for any other lock out there!!

I needed to replace the lock on the patio door, which is about 30 years old. I took the exact measurements and found this product at Home Depot online which seemed to match the correct sizes. Knowing that it could returned, I took a chance and ordered it. The lock fit and worked perfectly! The thing that helped the most was that different size "tongues" came in the kit and I was able to fit the exact size. With all the adjustments I made, it took under an hour to do. Easy to install and saved a lot by not having to get a locksmith!
