Love the Post Protectors! The new treated posts just don't last so Post Protector is a necessity! They go on easy and keep the soil from rotting the wood. GREAT PRODUCT!

They are easy to install. Just slip them over the bottom of the post and put the post in the ground. I did not screw them in figuring that if the post has a problem I should be able to work the post out without having to pull the post-protector out of the ground.

I've used these post protectors before building a fence around our organic garden. Didn't want the pressure treated wood to leach into the garden. I also sealed around the tops with 100% silicone. I did have a problem with the order, wrong size sent. I called Home Depot customer service and they got Ken from Post Protectors on to correct. Everyone was very helpful and took care of the mistake right away. This is why I gave them such a good review. Anyone can make a mistake but it's how you handle it that makes a difference. They did just that, Thanks Everyone.

I actually used the 4 x 6 post protector and it was awesome! So easy, even a caveman (with a shovel) could use it.

Worked as advertised. I bought a pair of post protectors that were a little longer than I needed, but I was able to trim them easily so that the protectors would extend about 6 inches above the ground. The bolts provided worked well to keep the protectors stable on the posts. I'm pleased with the purchase, and would buy the post protectors again.

Product was due on Saturday the 16th. It is now Monday the 18th and the product is still not been delivered. Did the tracking and it says the same thing pending waiting shipment. This is preventing additional delays in getting my back fence fixed. I now have to wait for the product to finally show up if it shows up or pitch purchase it from the store and hopefully someday it’ll show up so I can get a return

Great! It worked out great, I cut mine down quite a bit because I was installing a much shorter post than most people would be and I didnt attach the bolts because I want to be able to remove my bird feeder post so I can take it with me when I sell my house. I urethaned my post to protect it against rott and the elements but I wanted this sleeve so that It has an extra layer of protection and so that I can eventually remove it so it has worked out perfectly so far.

Fits like a glove on a 4x4 post. Would definitely buy again.

The post was loose inside the post protector and rainwater could easily run down inside and rot the post. Maybe I didn’t read the directions carefully. Good idea but not sure it would do what it’s supposed to.

Great way to extend the life of your post. Wish stores stocked this vs special order. It came quickly. Very happy and way to cut down if needed.

not true 4X4 but nominal 3 5/8 X 3 5/8; Should state that and not assume.

Poor customer service, arrived late when I talked to owner admitted didnt even have the product made. When arrived would have to still add the drainage holes before installing in a good design drilling these would be done in manufacturing process. They are a flimsy plastic cover that should your tiny 4 hold get plugged with dirt, debris or even a rock the post protector is going to hold the water like a bucket.

Easy to install. Lets see how long it las in Florida weather. Only bad thing was the packaging, box was all torn up, good thing these are plastic.

Small price to pay for the extra protection this product offers. Easy to install, all the screws, washers and instructions are included. I used this on a16" post, it actually made it easier to slide into the hole. I now have a post installed that should last with out any worries, done and forget about it. The protector should aid in weed clean up without damaging the base of the pole. Good, well designed and thought out product.

Very spendy!! But, you get what you pay for. The post protector is durably built and fits like a glove. The ultimate prolonged post protector.

My husband did the fence installation, but they arrived on time, in great shape and went on without trouble. We are both real happy with them. I’m sure they will help protect the wood posts. (Just be sure to install them facing the same way, if that would bother you. Oops. Haha.)
